Let me start by saying the embassy suites is in a great location, close to the shops and restaurants and other nightlife. The hotel is really beautiful. Tastefully decorated as you walk in with a huge fireplace / chimney, open feeling – very welcoming. There is a bar / restaurant / lounge in the property that is also equally classy.

Checking in was a breeze, front desk was more than helpful. Elevators are easy to locate, room signs in the hallways were informative. All the rooms are suites – our room was nicely equipped with a sofa / flat screen, kitchenette area (sink, micro, old style coffee maker – was thinking it would be a Keurig but it was not), and desk. The bedroom is separate with a nice king size bed, flat screen that swivels. The bathroom was rather large, plenty of space. Good showerhead, but could use a little more pressure. 2 doors lead to the bathroom – one leads to the bedroom, the other to the work area / entrance door.

Every evening there was a manager’s reception in the bar area from 5.30-7.30. you get soda / beer / wine and can sit pretty much anywhere in the bar or breakfast area and chill. There are very light snacks: veggies, trail mix, assorted nuts, various dips, cheese, pepperoni, peppers, stuff to hold you over til dinner. Friday night there was live music at the bar – really nice addition.

I was most impressed by the breakfast setup. Free for overnight hotel guests, otherwise $15/pp. There is an omelet / egg / waffle station ran by Rahniem Dale. Let me tell you this dude was HUSTLING!! He was always happy, interacting with the guests, sometimes singing a tune, and just generally in a happy pleasant mood. Didn’t matter if you didn’t get sleep or you were grumpy coming into breakfast cause you didn’t get your coffee yet - - Rahniem changed all that!!! His customer service was outstanding – there’s a reason he was chosen as Employee of the Year!! He was juggling up to 6 different omelet orders at the same time, always keeping the orders straight!! In addition to the above, there’s assorted pastries, breads, fruits, hot buffet (scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, potatoes), pancakes, and of course, coffee.

The breakfast staff was quick to clear off the tables as you were done eating, but I noticed that they weren’t wiping tables down as you were done. I get it – it’s a lot of work and a hustle, but maybe a quick wipe down once in while between customers would go a long way? Again, everyone was extremely pleasant. The restaurant / bar manager is from Italy – Maurizio Nascimben – oh my goodness. What a nice guy!! Just striking up conversation, he was genuinely interested in how you were doing. He would walk around during the happy hour / dinner hour and ask how things were. I made mention that we were going to Italy next year and he told me to stay put. He went to his office and gave me a detailed printout of places I needed to visit ā€˜When in Rome’ … amazing!! Who does that? He truly exemplifies the professionalism and courtesy that so many places are lacking these days. Overall we were very happy with our 3 night stay here. Would DEFINITELY stay here again if ever in the area!!

UPDATE had the pleasure of recently staying here for a business trip during the week in December 2023. So happy to report that nothing changed and I mean that in a good way. The staff were all super friendly, room was clean and comfortable, Managers reception / Happy hour was on point with the snacks and drinks. It was a lively and energetic atmosphere with live music on a weeknight.

Breakfast area was still outstanding with the hot buffet and made to order pancakes, waffles, omelets, eggs ... All kept track of by my man Rahniem. They had espresso at the coffee station as well!! If I were to be nitpicky, I would suggest to add some flavored creamers or even flavored syrup for the coffees. This was by far the best complimentary breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. This place continues to be outstanding and I look forward to staying...

I was hoping to stay here for the weekend with my family... it quickly turned into a stressful nightmare. The room was not very clean. The first thing I always check... if the mattress had an encased cover. With all the people in and out... and this supposedly being a high end hotel... they had a cover that wasn't even waterproof and not encased!! The mattress had hair on it and stains. The pillowcases had stains on them. The sleeper mattress was even worse. There was no cover on this at all. It had stains on it, and was ripped and gross!! The floor was dirty. The fridge had food stains in it from not being properly wiped out!! The "front desk manager" was not very helpful. She said we could move rooms. I said ok let me check it first to make sure not to waste any more time. It was the same!! I don't understand how people stay here and pay lots of money??!! So at this point the "manager" said she would have someone come up and clean the room and bring an encased cover for both the king and sleeper mattress. The house keeper could barely understand us and what we were asking for. She swept the room, wiped down a few things and changed the pillow cases that were dirty. We were at the pool while this was happening. We went back to the room and decided to check out!! I can't see paying that much money for a room that is NOT clean ans could potential cause us to get bugs!!! Nope!! Then it was a hassle to get my money back. The manager had left and the other lady said you don't have to stay but we are charging you!!! Like what??!! Yeah I don't think so. She finally got the "manager" on the phone who agreed we could leave without being charged!!! Do your research and really read reviews before booking ANY hotel!!! What was supposed to be a fun getaway, quickly turned into a nightmare!!! šŸ˜” 😟 šŸ™ I would post pics if it would let me!!

Reply to embassy-the options that were offered were... have us move rooms...which none of your rooms have even waterproof mattress covers let alone encased. We were first offered half off the first night.... this would have bee a d $800 stay... so no $100 off was notsufficient. Then looking further into previous reviews about you having bedbugs, NOPE. You couldn't pay me...

My mother, my daughter, and I were visiting from Florida and booked a stay for 5 nights in a 2 Queen Bed 2 Room Premium Suite. The room was very spacious. The breakfast was delicious and everyone working there was very friendly. However, that's where it stops. Some of the people who work at the front desk were friendly, but others need some more training on customer service. To begin, my daughter found a dried up dirty hand towel in her bed, which means the beds weren't changed. It was disgusting! My mom then punctured her leg on the bed she was sleeping on because the metal hooks securing the mattress were broken and sticking out from the bottom. Another hook and screws were also found on the floor. We went to the front desk and explained the situation and showed the lady the screws we found and the cut on my mother's leg. She apologized and said someone would clean the room and repair the bed, and she gave us the option to change rooms. We decided to stay in the room since we were already settled. A manager never contacted us to discuss what happened or to see if my mom was okay our entire stay. Nobody from the front desk checked in with us to make sure everything was fixed either. Our beds weren't changed for several hours, but the bed my mother was sleeping on was repaired quickly. My mother continues to have pain where her skin was punctured. I also had to frequently request that the water, coffee, and snacks be replenished throughout our stay, even though that is an amenity that is supposed to come with the premium suite. I called the front desk to let them know we needed toilet tissue and the man who answered the phone said they didn't have anyone from housekeeping available and that they keep some extra at the front desk that we could go pick up ourselves. As a Hilton Honors member, I have stayed at many of your hotels in the past. However, this recent stay was not a very pleasant one, and I hope these issues are addressed quickly for...
