Lush Cosmetics Westchester — Attraction in City of White Plains

I have a wife and several aunts and sisters. This store gets it done and the customer service is amazing.

I have been to this location a couple of times already and each time the service was instinctively exactly what I needed.

They have all kinds of products like soaps and bath accessories which I personally have never used but I know my wife loves it. I think all of these things are consumables like soaps or bath bombs and not scrubbers or that sort of thing. There are items from $5 up to the 9 bomb set I purchased for $80. They are on first floor of the mall.

I did not ask for great service or appear as though I am particularly needy but these employees have delivered a 10/5 experience. Let me explain.

I went in on Mother’s Day because I was out with the kids to keep them busy and let mom relax. I wanted to get something special for my wife while I was away from her. We went to the park and then to the mall for something from Lush. When we got inside the store and the employees immediately greet you with a warm friendly conversation.

They saw I had two young kids and was not looking to shop around much. They offered to show my kids a bath bomb while I decided which multi product preassembled box I wanted.

There are a lot of price ranges and sizes but I know the ropes already. I pointed to a larger one on the floor. These boxes are really nice looking and presentable.

As I am doing this my two children were amazed by the bubbles and colors and I let them pick one for a bubble bath another time ($6-8?). I quickly snuck to the other side of the small store and quietly paid. The employees threw in another couple small items as gifts and I was out in less than five minutes.

Flawless execution on their part. How could I not want to come again and spend money at a place with this memorable of an impulsive...

We love lush. We drop at least $150++ when ever we visit. We are especially huge fans of upw and upe locations because the staff is helpful and great with kids (even ones that are not trying to be disrespectful but have trouble paying attention). (Upw staff was especially amazing post-pandemic.) For what ever reason, the staff at this location are nothing like their Manhattan counterparts. My kid loves this brand; been using it since he was 2; and especially loves to test bombs. (Eg why we can leave the store without spending at least $150++. It is the least I can do.) When he asked to try a new bomb at this location, he was treated with disdain. Yes he was excited. But, I was right next to him and made sure he didn't touch extra stuff. Our questions about was new, were barely answered. It was sad watching the kid's enthusiasm slowly fade as the adults who normally enjoy the product more than he does act like we were an annoyance. What is worse, customers after us were not treated much better. Maybe listening to "Shiney Happy People" by REM and Kate Pierson would...

I went into Lush earlier today after a very stressful morning. Kiara helped me as soon as I walked in the door and was so attentive, friendly, and understanding. We did a mini pampering session with some products that I haven't tried before and went over my current routine. It was great to try out some new things before buying and now I have some new favorites! I have been a Lush customer for many years. While I have always found the customer service to be top notch, Kiara sets the bar very high! She went the extra mile to make sure I felt better after the crazy start to my day and left feeling happy with my new products. I sincerely appreciate her kindness and look forward to visiting Lush Westchester...
