The Container Store — Attraction in City of White Plains

Two years ago we used container store to redo our closets. We knew nothing about doing over closets and didn't do our homework since a neighbor recommended them. They charged us just over 1k dollars. Well we have a condo in Florida and decided to do our closets over, so we went to home depot. A female employee walked us through the whole process. She cut the shelves and told us which brackets to buy. Home we went, and two hours later we had our closets complete. So easy! The price for our condo which has more closets? $279.00! With our closets from Container store, the way they configured our closets we lost space and gained empty space! The materials were identical to Home Depots....

We ordered some items for pick up at the Yonkers location. We arrived at the Westchester location in error 15 minutes before closing with no hope to make it before closing to the Yonkers location. Manager Ney and his staff did not skip a beat. They went above and beyond for us. Not only did they stay behind (past closing) for us, they went into their stock room several times to ensure we had everything we needed. They did all of this with smiles and grace. This level of customer service is not often seen anymore. We will certainly be making the drive out from Manhattan to the Westchester location...

It's getting harder and harder to find what you want in this store. And if they still carry it, it is either out of stock or has to be ordered. I might as well just order it on line. And another brick and mortar store will be out of business. I used to like this store and would buy here because it was in stock and I wouldn't have to waste my time going to several stores looking for an item, even though The Container Store was more expensive. I saved the money not having to waste my time going to several other stores to find what I wanted. What a shame the managers try to cheap on things and...
