What can I say... I am ALWAYS here! Sundays are also for planning out my lunch for the week. They have recently added more prepared food vendors to the mix of the organic farmers. Grab a tamale while you're here, they are tasty, and the fruit juices for ailments are another of my go-tos.
I love #farmersmarket @frescopastala has the best Pasta, Butter, Sauces, and Italian Cheese! You can never go wrong here. Pluots, Saturn Peaches, and Reed Avocados are in season. Get them while they’re still available and TRUST ME, grocery store produce and Farmer’s Markets are not alike, the taste difference is eye-opening!
I also discovered that my favorite meat vendor Sage Mountain Farm, has Pastured Cerveza Beef 🤯, so I picked up their Carne Asada.

You'll find a good variety of growers here- a number of them selling organic foods. You can also buy breads, meat, fish, eggs, jams, honey, nuts, flowers, plants, etc. A portion of the market is for arts and crafts items. No meat , no fish vendors ( the salmon and only salmon sold there is 25.00 a pound ) , terrible selection of old fruit , no red meat vendors , the vegetables are virtually non existent (old kale for 3.50 a bunch Whole Foods is $2.00 ?) - however , I do like the location that’s set right in the heart of Claremont near the colleges and could double for Ann Arbor, Michigan.
