On October 2, I took my wife’s $10,000 earring set purchased from Toledo Spain to repair at Jon’s Fine Jewelry for repair. The stone had fallen out due to a bad mount. I was told the repair would take 30 days, and it was expected to be back by November 2. When I called on November 2, the staff couldn’t find my item, and after multiple holds, they told me it hadn’t arrived yet and was being shipped via FedEx. The lady I was talking to was incompetent, who had the tracking number but couldn’t tell me when the items would arrive and was nasty and provided extremely poor customer service. I was frustrated, so I visited the store in person. The same employee was there and refused to answer my simple question about when my item would be available. There was only one other customer there and another employee was taking care of them, and she was just standing there doing nothing. She told me to "stand in the corner" and seemed unwilling to help. I threatened to call the police for assistance since she refused to give me the answer to my simple request of when my item will be available for me to pick up. She reacted by yelling at me and falsely claiming I was a former employee she had fired. Possibly this woman has some mental disorder, I don’t know but just a horrible experience. When the police arrived, I gave them the full story and they went in, and they informed me my item would be ready for pickup on November 5. On November 5, I called the police again for my safety and picked up the earring without further issues, but a different lady assisted me. The staff's unprofessional behavior and lack of customer service were shocking. I would not recommend this store for any jewelry needs and the jewelry I saw there was not that great and seemed overpriced. There are better, more reasonably priced options elsewhere, where you won’t have to involve law enforcement just to get basic service.
Your reply is as absurd as the experience. You speak of firing me some how as a customer... that is totally stupid, insane thing to say and does not exist and made up and never happened. Just hope others see how pathetic your claim as a jewelry store is and avoid you and go somewhere else where they might encounter individuals at least completent enough to know where your item is after 30 days without having to call the police to get an answer. Your customer service is a minus 100 percent, you are not in business for the customer but very arrogant and disprespectful. I have never worked for you, I am a the owner of a company myself and would fire anyone who treated a customer like this that simply asked where is my product and I had to get the police to make you comply. Just want to let others know you are not the place to get customer service or jewelry and to expect major problems.
There is only one truth, anyone can contact the police to verify my side of the story. The receipt said you would have it ready for me in 30 days and then you can't provide a simple answer on the phone or in person for a simple repair after waiting long periods on the phone and your refusal to answer in person? Then you don't know where my items are and refuse to proide an answer for a $10,000 set of ear rings and it takes a police response to force you to comply with a simple answer and to make up some nonsense about firing a customer? You don't have to worry, I have no desire to interact with such a horrible place like yours for any reason. Customer beware - this is a horrible place to go for any reason full of total disrespectable self...

I was always under the impression that this is a reputable jewelry, well it may have been in the past. I recently found out there is a new owner Beware. That would explain my very unsatisfactory experience. I brought a diamond tennis bracelet in for repair in December 2021 which was new but bought out of state. it needed the latch fixed and we asked for a safety chain to also be added. We were told it would not be ready until Feb 2022, 2 months later. Went to pick up on the promised date and had to wait a few more days. When I picked it up the girl noticed the latch was not fixed and asked for it to be tightened. By the time I got home it had come loose. I called back and the spoke to the owner he said I would need to bring it back which I agreed to. A few minutes later I recieved a call back from the owner and he asked if I had bought it from them. I told him no. He then proceeded to tell me I need to have it repaired where it was purchased. When I explained I couldn't do that as it was out of state he proceeded to say there was nothing he could do for me. They had no problem charging me over $200 for the work but not to guarantee your work is extremely poor customer service. I was never asked when I brought it in for repair if I bought it there. Never will I purchase or refer...
Read moreI have been Meaning to go to this store forever...finally did and so glad I did. I had some older mens jewelry...not vintage nor antique just gold and diamonds I was looking to liquidate...so I asked if they did appraisals (how can we sell if we don't know a ball park value) yes they do...they have an appraiser who comes to the store once ever two weeks. They had three or four types of appraisals for like Real Estate Pieces with all the pics measurements and cerification stamps...to verbal which was all I really needed for this...they had the appraisal done on time...the pieces were cleaned and I now can work on fairly marketing the pieces with the knowledge of how much was invested in the pieces and the true market value of the pieces. The store had amazing beautiful jewelry. Very clean and professional...I will be doing more business with them. I will be getting another appraisal on my personal collection for insurance coverage purposes....Patronize the professional place as much as you can...for the...
