Cocoa Beach, FL. What a cool shop!!! It’s got coffee, it’s got fresh grassfed beef and meat, it’s got fresh artisanal bread, it’s got charcuterie snack boards to go. They also make their own blends of salsas, fig jam, and bacon jam.
My friends tried their moisturizing skin creams made with purified tallow and got a couple. They smelled great!
They had a little bar where you could eat a sandwich and drink coffee. They had out some Counter Culture bags of coffee for sale.
They’re popular with the community. Their nephew works there and is going to England and they had a sign up about him. He’s a USA Martial Arts champion and they’re raising support to help him get to the world championships (see photo). His uncle, the owner of the shop, was all enthusiastic about his nephew.
“He only works here so he can have the castoff pieces of steak. Oh yeah, he knows his beef. He’ll say, ‘How about that corner there?’ and I’ll be like, ‘Yeah no, get back to work.’ But I am dead serious, he only works here for the steak.”
Me, I’d work here for the Four Cheese...
Read moreAnother of my favorite Cocoa Village small businesses! If you are in need of anything for a BBQ, steak dinner, chicken, or even breakfast this is the place to go. It is owned by the cutest family! The meat is ethically sourced and is clean without hormones or antibiotics! Also try any of the house cured charcuterie it’s all super delicious! My favorite is the Lanza and the duck prosciutto! Josh and Ally are really cool and chill people. They are super fun to chat with and Josh likes Magic the Gathering so its super fun to talk about the game while you pick up your dinner. They also buy wholesale items to sell in their shop from other small businesses in the area. Our mutual friend Bethany’s store, B & B Candles and Soaps is one of the small business wholesalers that Josh and Ally stock in their butcher shop and market! Bethany gets her tallow from Josh and Ally’s shop and turns it into so many amazing body care items!!!!!! Forgotten Block is your one stop shop of so many...
Read morePricey, but worth every cent. I haven’t tried the beef and pork yet, but the chicken is unbelievable. This is what chicken should taste like, but doesn’t when you buy chicken from other places. With the first chicken I bought, I made chicken and dumplings, and chicken soup. The chicken was incredibly tender and delicious, even though I had slightly overcooked it. I made bone broth after I deboned the chicken I had boiled. The chicken broth and the bone broth were far more flavorful than I have made using store-bought chickens. Owners are very nice. I never thought chicken would be my main meat, but now it is. Thank you, thank you, thank you for servicing our area with top quality products. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this place an 85 (WAY...
