Sabi Boutique — Attraction in College Station

I really wanted to love Sabi Boutique — it’s a cute and thoughtfully curated store, and I was initially excited to support a small business. That said, I’ve had a couple of experiences that left me disappointed, and I feel it’s important to share them for others who may be considering shopping here.

The first issue I encountered happened a few months ago when I made a return. I wasn’t aware at the time that all returns are for store credit only — not a refund to your original form of payment. This policy wasn’t clearly communicated, so I would advise future shoppers to make sure they’re fully informed before purchasing.

More recently, I placed an online order for an item I intended to wear to an event that same day. I selected the local pickup option, assuming it would be a smooth process. However, when I arrived, I was told the item was in storage and couldn’t be retrieved. I explained that I needed it for that day and asked to cancel the order. After speaking with someone else, I was told they could go get it, so I waited around for 20–30 minutes — only to be informed that they couldn’t find the skort in my size after all. While I appreciate that I was ultimately refunded, the overall experience was frustrating and inconvenient.

I have been to Sabi a couple times to purchase Kendra Scott jewelry. There is usually a wait as the jewelry is kept in a small area and there are usually several people looking. Today I went in to look for some earrings. There were 2 people there looking already. I patiently waited while they were looking. The salesperson were answering their questions. Another lady came up and began immediately asking for certain jewelry and the clerk began helping her. The ladies that were there before me chose their items and the clerk went over to check them out. She told me she’d be right back. I LOVE this boutique! Great customer service! They were so welcoming, helpful and attentive. I went for the first time this past week looking for a dress to wear to a wedding. I hadn’t worn a dress in over 2 years so I was a little self conscious about finding something that would fit. I explained this to the young lady and she picked a few dresses for me to try on. Well, she knew what she was doing because the dresses ignited my self confidence! I found 2 beautiful dresses that fit me perfectly!
