Flowers were ordered for someone having a Horrible day. Worst day I've ever seen this person have. Flowers were ordered as a surprise, to cheer her up. No one told us when you order they will call recipient to let them know they have a delivery coming not only once, but twice. (Then they leave it at the apartment office!) It could've been left at apt and the apt could be called her to office, like they did anyway. Without telling her why. Thank to the apt for not giving away the delivery. The surprise was ruined because the florist didn't explain we are going to call the recipient, to make sure they're home. Flowers wouldn't have been ordered had she not been home. I call the florist and explain there was a lack of communication.. My Family owned an Florist over 50 years and you don't call and ruin the surprise or if that's you intention, let the custom know that's your protocol and if you don't want them contacted, ask them!
So I called to let them know they ruined her surprise not once but twice by calling two times. I asked to be compensated due to the surprise being messed up and she asked me how she could help me by compensating me... I said more flowers. Well the Bouquet was beautiful, but I can't tell that they added more flowers for the price that he paid. I thought they'd do a whole new one even if was just 6 flowers of any kind. Not just add to shag he ordered. She still knew she had a OK of flowers coming it would've been nice if they would've just done a separate one and added that along with it for the miscommunication, but that wasn't done. That would've shocked her and fixed the mistake. made. I personally loved the one bouquet, but it was not worth the 100 paid .( more flowers weren't added from what I could tell.) that's my opinion for $ paid and day ruined even more so by calling. I didn't see extra flowers for that price. I feel they need to be up front with their customers, so a surprise isn't ruined with a pre-warning you have a delivery coming, calling the recipient twice ! Just disappoint even after talking to manager. The manage very was nice but I feel we didn't receive a compensation for their lack of communication. Compensation is not adding more flowers to the bouquet that you know you have coming it's maybe throwing an extra little bouquet along with the one you ruined by calling I was thinking a separate one so she's really surprised that she got not only one but two, and I wasn't asking for much. Nothing expensive. I still feel we need to be compensate by a surprise delivery even if it's only worth 25 -30 that's better than losing business because he orders her flowers all the time! I pray they make this right, so we can continue using them as our florist, but if not, we will move to a different florist from here on out. Like I said I'm not speaking bad of them. Just a girl having the worst day ever, and that made...
Read moreI live out of town and usually send flowers to my friend who lives in College Station for her birthday. I used University Flowers last year and after a detailed conversation of what I wanted while I placed the order, it seems University Flowers was impressed enough with the bouquet to post a photo of it to their own Google page before they sent it out for delivery. I was pleased with last year’s bouquet!
This year’s experience fell VERY short. While placing the order with Cheyanne this year, I spent the time explaining what I wanted and even referenced the Google photo that was MY order last year. I was told they didn’t have the same vases anymore, but it could be ordered. So I asked for something comparable. I ended up spending a little more this year, which I was fine with, since I had been pleased with last year’s arrangement. The flowers were delivered today and they looked like I had picked them out from Kroger and put them in a vase myself. I called to kindly ask if this was the value of the order I placed, and among the explanation given was that “prices have gone up.” I understand that prices have gone up, which is why I spent a little more. But how did I spend more this year, but the arrangement looked cheaper than last year’s arrangement?!
Five minutes later, Jessica called me and apologized for “not hitting the mark” for what I had envisioned. She apologized for how the person who took my order didn’t take enough notes of what I wanted, so the designer didn’t really understand what I wanted. Jessica even offered to swap out the flowers. I politely declined the swap because I didn’t want an even cheaper looking bouquet to go out. Jessica earned one star back for her kind customer service.
If you are looking for elegant flower arrangements, maybe look elsewhere.
In response to Jessica’s reply to my review: My friend saying the flowers were pretty still doesn’t justify the fact that I spent more money than the presentation of the arrangement that was sent. My friend doesn’t know how much I spent. She’s just appreciating...
Read moreMy boyfriend ordered me $100+ worth of flowers for my birthday. We expected a delivery at 12:00pm on May 7th 2024 and they NEVER showed up to deliver his order and instead delivered my gift to an address 20 minutes away from my apartment. They even promised to deliver the flowers today and nothing ever showed up. Thanks for ruining my surprise gift. I’ll never recommend this place to any of my friends or family.
EDIT for a response to the owner: Not sure why this company is telling me they called me or tried to reach me in order to deliver my gift when they didn't even have my phone number. Even IF they left my flowers with my apartment complex leasing office, they had my boyfriends phone number, my apartment number, and my gate code number to access the complex. But still couldn't successfully deliver flowers to my door. It's not the responsibility of the leasing office to do YOUR JOB and deliver my flowers.
What you guys should've done is call or text my boyfriend to notify him that you delivered the flowers to the leasing office. It is your job to communicate and give status updates regarding the order. I no longer want flowers from this company and the only way you can make it right is by providing a refund and do better for your future customers and...
