JD Sports — Attraction in Colonial Heights

We came in to purchase 2 pairs of shoes for my husband. No one was there to help. I had to ask who was an employee to get service after 10 minutes. So when I seen a lady coming from back I said hello, she dismissed me and acted like she wasn't just 2 feet away. I walk towards her to ask her a question she dismissed me again and walked back with another employee to look for 1 pair of shoes. It was 3 employees helping 1 male and it was about 8 other customers in the store. My husband walks up to lady she very happy to assist him. So I'm waiting to ask about the other pair of shoes my husband wants and she just looked through me and another male customer came in she assisted him Dismissed me again. So I raised my voice after almost 20 mins of this and she says he wants a 12 and thats an 11.5 I say no its a 12. She tells me no but I have the shoe in my hand that says 12 USA Here comes the other lady talking about do it say USA by 12? If you did your job and served female the way you serve male customers you could have more business. These woman were very unprofessional and more less discriminating towards probably more than me as female. I didn't see a name tag on either women. But the one ruin lady had a lot of chin hair.

Only 2 stars for me. It was my first visit to the store. My children (18 & 24) were with me and we were shopping for shoes for my son for his 18th bday. He found a pair he really wanted. We asked for the size and the shorter female behind the counter was very rude. She refused to wait on us. She went to the back of the store came back out and said “he is going to bring them out to you” we waited and waited with no “he” in sight. I looked around the store remaining patient because maybe she was having a bad day. I see her with the best customer service impression treating another customer like they were the only customer in the store…meanwhile we are still waiting. Then I saw what it was. We were not the right color for her service obviously. I am a white woman with 2 mixed adult children and the racism and disrespect was obvious! We had several pair of shoes we were interested in but they lost my business for life the very first time I visited! It’s really a shame that the hate is still so widespread in this country. Love...

Customer service is so rude and Uninviting. I was never acknowledged when I came in, no one seemed to want To help me with a size. Everyone seemed annoyed. One lady was on her phone the whole time, eating Doritos chips and when a customer came up she didn’t even wash her hands before touching register and handling new items . My daughter had to say “excuse me” several times before any of the employees heard her because they were complaining about personal issues and work problems and very loudly! And when the Lady with the Doritos did respond, she sounded annoyed, and was rude. Rule of thumb in customer service- never talk about personal issues in front of customers! You can tell their work issues affected how they treated the customers and that’s sad to say. I would hate to go back here, I will continue to...
