Alpine Shop - Columbia, MO — Attraction in Columbia Township

If you buy anything from Alpine Shop and it does not perform the way you expect it to, they don't care. I purchased a $200 jacket from them. Two weeks later, a few seams on the jacket had come loose. Alpine Shop refused to allow me to return it or exchange it because "It had already been worn too much." They offered to send the jacket to the manufacturer for twice the price the manufacturer charges. Finally, the oaf behind the counter suggested I just burn the seams with a lighter. this place had great customer service I have loved the fact that you can go in there and people greet you right on the spot and ask if you need any help. there prices were extremely reasonable. there selection was excellent having exactly what my friend was looking for it was a first for me and I will make sure to let everyone know that this place is always a pleasure to do business with. we alawys had to exchange a few things and they were more then...

Caveat - we won a gift card at a paddling event, and this place is 2 hours from home, so we won't be regular customers. Given that, I was pleased with the prices and very pleased with the people working there today. Think of a greatly scaled down version of REI. Similar types of equipment, but less of everything.
