We stopped here for dinner on the way back to Lexington from Sumter. Traveling along Garners Ferry takes all of your attention but I caught their building sign in my side vision. We flipped at the light and drove down the frontage road to their location. It's tucked away in a small shopping center across from Wal-Mart. We walked in and were greeted by a sweet lady at the bar. I ordered the Curried Goat with collards and plantains. My wife had the Jerk Chicken with Cabbage and Mac & Cheese. Our food was ready in about 10 minutes. She brought it out in styro containers. We decided to eat at the bar. My Goat was outstanding, so tender. The gravy was ridiculous. I could take shots of it. The collards were seasoned well and the plantains were perfectly cooked. The Jerk chicken was well cooked and tender but was a little light on the Jerk seasoning for my taste. The dipping sauce really helped with the overall flavor. The Cabbage and Mac were good. Next trip, I have to try their best...

The place was okay and the prices weren't as bad as oxtails could be!!! I had the oxtails dinner with Mac and cheese and peas and rice. The price was $13 the peas and rice was really really good and the oxtails we're good as well does not come with a gravy like sauce like you would expect with typical oxtails!!! The Mac and cheese was horrible though and was like eating a pasta cake it was extremely dry and barely had any cheese!!!! The bar is nice as well and the live music but this is not the location for the night life!!! It tastes like their food is left around or rather the other way around it tastes like a mop bucket or mop chemicals is left around the food area. Or as if someone moped the floors while someone is cooking. Tasted or smells like it in the food. So as a customer was very😡🤬. This was not the first time, the first time I left had not come back,til the second which was recently. If I decide to go back it won't ever be for any food at all. Maybe dancing & music . Never for any of their food In straight. I would suggest to stop using any chemicals around food cooking for customers/public! I have a very keen sensitive...
