Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Columbia

(April 15th 2020). I called at 10:20 knowing they close at 11. All I wanted was a personal pan, which may take 10-15 minutes. I make It there at 10:48. After I walked in I'm greeted twice. The first one I didn't respond to but the second one I asked for one second. I was calling the store to see if there phone is working. After it rings a few time I see a young man standing next to it an he isn't answering it. So I ask the manager is that there phone that's ringing she confirms that it is. I tell her that I've been calling since 10:20 no one answered but only once but I was placed on hold then the phone hung up. When I called the store while I was standing in it after complaining that no one answer to take my order the young man standing next to it answers to try to prove a point which he had none. All he did was prove my point that they ignored my call an I needed to be at work at 11 pm. I told myself I will never spend my hard earned money at any Pizza Hut especially with the Covid-19 being an issue for us all. (10-14-2020) I called in at 10:28pm for a personal pan pizza. Someone accepted my order over the phone an I was told it takes between 10 to 15 minutes to complete. I payed for my order at 10:34pm an was told someone will bring it out to my car where I could wait. I waited until 10:45pm then went back inside to get my order. I over heard two young lady’s talking after I ask about my order. One told the other “please tell me your not about to just now start working on that personal pan”. In which I saw the young lady that was told that smirking through the side of her mask in response. Another woman approaches the counter to assist me. I asked her how much longer will it be until my order is ready. She says it’ll be another three minutes. I am visiting South Carolina, down here for my brothers funeral, on my way to my nephew home I stopped at the pizza hut at 7385 Garner's Ferry road Columbia, SC 29209 to get a pizza for him and myself an order of two medium pizza's, on one pizza bacon was requested. Upon receiving the order I check both orders. The bacon was not cooked thru, I requested to have a pizza with the bacon crispy, the casher stated " if I put it back in, the pizza would burn". She sucked her teeth with an attitude and informed a co-worker " he said the bacon is not done". Due to her body language and attitude I informed her that I would cancel the order, at this point the co-worker she was talking to took over to refund my money. He then said to her," he can do a customer survey, we have real loyal customers. Note, I never mentioned anything about doing a survey. Upon hearing this I addressed the statement made by the male co-worker " I never said I was going to do a survey, and if I was it's my right." This co-worker became confrontational and belligerent to the point he stated " this is not a career for me, it's just a job. Meet me out back." What I experienced on 08/28/2018 is the worse customer service ever in my 56 years on this planet, I have served in the military from Fairbanks Alaska to Rota Spain. If this is what they mean by Southern Hospitality, leave me out. According to the receipt I have I was waited on by a young lady name Redrecka and her co-worker who did the refunding and who threatened me, his name is Arnold according to the refund slip. I placed my order for a schedule pick up around 6ish for a 9:15 pick up after my double shift cause I did not want to wait to get my food. I get called AS IM ON MY WAY THERE LITERALLY 3-4 minutes away to be told my order was cancelled due to them closing early @9pm. I ordered two medium two topping pizzas, breadsticks and 4 drinks and your telling me @9:08pm to call and say it was cancelled my order wasn’t even being made but was scheduled for 9:15 and all you can tell me is we close early tonight on a normal night it would have been made so what makes this night so much different than the rest we still 4 days from christmas therefore you not closing early for Christmas Eve it’s the 21st and yes it’s raining but not pouring so I don’t understand. As I pulled up to the Pizza Hut people were still coming in that had placed their order a minute before 9 and still got his order get mines was cancelled…was not a good management I’ve been coming here for a while and it’s ALWAYS something with them my last order was scheduled and curbside yet I STOOD IN THEIR LOBBY for 20+ minutes while others placed their order and still managed to leave before I did this place isn’t worth it find another one to go to at this point it’s just sad.
