Twisted Spur Brewing — Restaurant in Columbia

We were really excited for this brewery to open a block away from our house, so we went as soon as we could! We only anticipated grabbing a couple beers to try out, but wanted to check out the menu for next time. We were greeted by a nice man at the host stand and told him we would like to sit at a high top by the bar. Every single one was empty, but dirty. We opted for the patio since we were told we couldn't sit at these empty tables... where was your busser? After being sat at a patio table with only ONE menu between the two of us (they were out of menus), we felt like we were being interrogated with the bright florescent lights. Also, they had five beers on the menu, but only two available. Okay....

We were sat on the patio. AGAIN, with ONE menu because they were out. I'm really curious how many menus they have. There wasn't more than 20 people in the whole place. We ordered two beers. His came out almost immediately, and mine 5-10 minutes after. We also ordered oysters at the same time. After waiting for our oysters for 10 minutes, we decided to order our entrées. Our entrées beat the oysters to our table. We ended up cancelling our oysters, but after hearing a manager apologizing profusely to the table behind us, and no word to us about our missing oysters.

Overall, I'm very disappointed with the operations at this restaurant. The oversights from management are embarrassing and...

disappointed ☹️ not sure what happened definitely not the same as my previous experiences before 2020 i insisted on going to TS instead of Grill Marks … we arrived and greeted by the bartender Terrance super friendly told us pick a table.. it started ok Heather our waitress was nice …then we waited over an hour for 1 appetizer … it came without plates or utensils …. we asked terrance ..he gave us only napkins .… no explanation from Heather she smiled thru it she and terrance were whizzing by …another 20 mins my food arrived not my friends and the fries we immediately returned them overcooked and dry… my quesadilla was the same Terrance jotted by and immediately stated they will remake it….. they did but so awful … we noticed terrance and heather were the only ones working and the outside too! so maybe that was the cause of not so good service no excuse for the food Well terrance was engaging the guest at the bar while assisting with the guest on the floor with a smile and great enthusiasm Still what a waste of my money and time … oh well hopefully they will improve and it’s temporary …maybe they are trying to bounce...

My first time here and it's a HIT! Loved it and the service. I tried their in house Southern Belle Blonde lagar beer and loved it. They have 12 beer vats to make beer with and so far 6 different types of in house draft beers to choose from with plans to have 12 types in the near future. We were immediately greeted and seated. Our server was helpful and knowledgeable about their beer making process. The food was great!! I cleaned my plate mommy! Lol. 😋. I had the Confetti Pasta and stole some bacon from my friends burger to add to it. Everything is better with bacon right... My friend killed her big burger and fries. She said it had very good flavor and was juicy. And guess what!? The pickled okra tasted just like a regular pickle. Yeah I stole that from her to and ate it. I just couldn't help myself, besides they gave her another and I left that one alone. This is a place I will come back to. The atmosphere is inviting and clean. And the service is great.
