My employer does tuition reimbursement for classes that pertain to my current job and also gives a discount on tuition with DeVry, so I figured I would take online classes while working to get my bachelors. Well one online class went as expected and was great, the professor was informative and helpful. My other professor on the other hand posted 2 times a week with two 1- minute or less video of him scrolling through two already completed homework assignments. The class was Logic and Design and was for programming. After messaging the professor with my struggles understanding the C# program, he simply said he cant help me with it unless I had a more specific question on C#. So naturally, I asked if there were additional resources to help me learn. But he informed me there was only the book to learn how to run the program.... With no prior experience in programming this was very frustrating and my employer does not reimburse for classes I don't pass, which leaves me stuck paying for a class because of a unhelpful professor. I would hope that all other professors aren't as unhelpful as this one was, but I won't take the risk of the same...
Read moreI would like to recognize Andrew Williams, the Senior Executive Advisor who helped me through every step of my admissions process. From the first moment I spoke with him I felt comfortable and at ease about making the decision to go back to school. He is very knowledgeable of all the programs offered at DeVry University/Keller Graduate School of Management. Throughout the whole admissions process he kept in contact with me every step of the way, whether by email/phone/text. He is very good at what he does and his sincerity is evident!! He made sure I was informed and satisfied with the whole process!! He went above and beyond to help me with applying for student scholarships and getting me in contact with Robin Petrucelli to set up my financial aid. Robin was also very friendly and professional. She helped me with the financial side of things and went over all the different loan options for me. I highly recommend DeVry University/Keller Graduate School of Management! I'm very excited to be embarking on this new chapter of my life and I'm looking forward to classes starting March 1st, 2021!!...
