Horrible customer experience. The following took place on 6/19/21: I used the drive-through; I had a coupon for "Buy One Plate, Get One Plate FREE;" I informed the employee taking the order of the coupon and they acknowledged; I placed my order and proceeded to the window; at the window, I gave the coupon to the employee ("Employee #1") and the Employee #1 stated that my total was $7.90; I gave the employee #1 my credit card and they gave me my food and my receipt. Immediately upon leaving the window, I looked at the receipt and realized that they actually charged my card for two plates ($15.80); I checked my account and confirmed that the charge amount was not correct. I immediately drove through the drive through again and at the window told the employee #1 that I was actually charged $15.80, and not $7.90, as I was supposed to. The employee #1 looked at the receipt and said, "oh S!#t." The employee #1 then said something to another employee ("Employee #2"), and the employee #2 came to the window, attempted to give me back my coupon and said something to the effect of "can we give you back the coupon and you just use it next time," to which I replied that I would rather have my money ($7.90) back; the employee #1 then made the same offer to me (to come back and use the coupon again) to which I also said that I would rather have my money back. The employee #1 said that their boss will ask me the same thing. Then the manager (Jeremy) finally came to the window and offered to just give me 2 free plates "next time" instead of issuing a refund. I again asked for my money back. Jeremy then closed the window without saying anything; about a minute later, Jeremy expressed that he is unable to issue a partial refund and he would need the food back before he issues a refund; he again offered to give me 2 free plates "next time;" at that point, I didn't want to cause any further delay and had no choice but to agree to 2 free plates "next time," although I really didn't want to come back to this place again. Furthermore, Jeremy did not ask for any of my information until after I started inquiring into how receiving the 2 free plates would even work. The employees and Jeremy acted as if I was in the wrong, although it was absolutely not my fault that employee #1 made a mistake and charged me the wrong amount. As a result, my account was still charged $15.80, which I remained unhappy with. This is not a way to treat a customer; since the system did not allow Jeremy to issue a full refund, Jeremy could do either of 2 things to resolve the problem: (1) issue a full refund instead of promising me two free plates "next time," or (2) refund the full amount first, then charge my card the correct amount; I would have been fine with either. Call FOUR TIMES and finally get an answer telling me I have to sit behind the ten cars in the drive-thru, though I then watch an employee unlock the door and allow someone in. I pull out of the drive-thru and enter, and dispite six employees working, wait 5 minutes to even be attended to; when I ask to speak to the manager there's a lengthy discussion behind the counter amongst the employees before he comes out. I ask why the door had been locked, me told I had to use the the drive-thru and then immediately afterwards the doors opened - no apologies, no explanation other than, in a sarcastic tone, that the person opening the door "didn't know". This was my first time visiting Gemini location but I do eat at the Westerville one and the Grove City one quite frequently. Went through the drive-thru and food came out quickly. Very surprised when we got home and opened up our containers as they were only about two-thirds of what you typically get. Charged us full price but only about half of the typical amount of chow mein and just a small scoop of each type of meat.
