Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Conroe

The manager needs to be retrained or fired & the staff need to witness this.

01/07/2022 We chose this location only because our daughter, her husband, & our grandbaby live up in Conroe...huge mistake that we'll never make again...

We walked in at 7:20pm on Sunday, 09 January 2022. There wasn't a lot of people inside, but more than half of the empty tables were covered in empty plates & hadn't been cleaned. The music was extremely loud & we had to ask them twice to turn it down.

The pasta line was less than half stocked, there was almost no pizza on the line, & the salad bar was less than desirable.

pasta & sauce: dirty, food spilled, sauces were running low - the only Cici's I've been to that didn't have any cheesy bread.

pizza: we asked why there was no pizza in the line & were told "it's in the oven" - we looked inside both ovens & both were empty.

salad: no black olives, no cucumbers, no purple onions, no bell peppers, no tomatoes, no mushrooms. Out of four bottles of dressing, only one bottle had 1/4 in it & it was literally water...other than that, there was NO SALAD dressing - none... I poured the watery dressing on my lettuce, put all 4 of the bottles on top of the salad bar to maybe get the attention of the staff.

We asked for 2 pepperoni pizzas like we do at our regular Cici's (22513 Tomball Pkwy Ste 117, Houston, TX 77070) which we love & were told "uh, we don't do that here".

Ok, so we sat at our table eating what little pizza & salad we could get - scraps - waiting for food to come out. I saw an employee grab all 4 salad dressing bottles, shake them, then put them back on the salad bar. I walked back up, informed the employee they were all empty & they acted like they didn't know. I returned back to the salad bar later & there was ONE bottle of dressing on the line & it had the consistency of water.

We watched, waited, & literally stalked the staff hoping they'd put some food on the line. When a pizza came out, our group of 6 would go up & get what we could, then go sit back down.

I honestly don't understand how this Cici's is operating because it is the opposite of our favorite one (22513 Tomball Pkwy Ste 117, Houston, TX 77070) which runs like a well-oiled machine. The Cici's in Conroe needs a new manager & employees that care about...

We went to Cicis the first time & they had no food out at all. There were people standing & waiting for the food. Then the people working there were extremely rude. We ordered a pizza personal size, since there was no pizza on the buffet. We waited 45 min before we were told they put it out on the buffet instead of giving it to us. They acted as if we were bothering them for any question we asked. They had no ranch out and acted very upset that we asked for ranch. It was the worst experience we've had in a long time. We spoke to the regional manager Luis Avina who apologized and was very nice. He said he would take care of everything and refund us the money we spent and send us free vouchers. He assured us there was new management and things would be better next time around. We went back and although the attitudes were better the food wasn't. I have pictures of carrots on the salad bar that had black spots on them and the rest were white. The olives were dark and looked old. When you first walked in they had put up URINAL RINGS at the front of the door. I sent an email back to the regional manager telling him how the second visit went and we had never received our promise refund. I sent pictures I had on my phone of both experiences and have yet to hear back from him. Not to mention sitting in the restaurant was extremely hot! Everyone at our table was sweating due to the AC not working correctly at the facility. I have NO clue why they would put up URINAL rings to help odor in the restaurant. Thats just gross! Not a good place...

This location should be shut down ! When you first arrive you’re greeted by the overwhelming smell of sewage and not the friendly hellos of staff ! They NEVER have fresh pizza out not even at dinner, despite the horrid smell I’ve given them a few more tests over the past few years. I have never seen an actual adult working there, staff is very young and rude. My most recent trip I called and asked what time do they put out dinner hoping I would come to fresh pizza and they literally laughed at me and said they always have fresh pizza, I took my family in a few minutes later and the pizza was in fact NOT fresh and they only had a few out. The kids working there were making fun of my family in Spanish assuming I couldn’t understand them. My kid found a dead fly in his “clean” cup, we all asked for to go cups which I had to pay extra for. My husband bit into his first bite of “fresh pizza” it was hard and cold. He asked for a refund, they did refund his money. I paid separately for our to go cups which wasn’t refunded and the staff member yelled at me while walking out the door with my EMPTY to go cups which that I PAID FOR to give it back !? This location is very disappointing and has always been terrible, I don’t recommend anybody go here because they do not provide the normal CiCi’s experience! No friendly hellos, no fresh pizza, no customer service and the smell is...
