312 Pawn — Attraction in Saint Augustine

Honestly, way beyond my expectations for a pawn shop. My wife and I like to check out different pawn shops in our spare time. You never know what kind of miscellaneous items you can find. But, 99% of the shops we go to fall into the same category. Same typical pawn shop atmosphere. Bars on the windows. You have to be “buzzed in” at the door before you can enter. Most things are overpriced. And you feel like you are buying something that was pawned by a shady individual and never reclaimed.

Not 312 Pawn. Best pawn shop experience ever!

Our first thought when we walked through the door was “are we at the right place?” The store owner and her staff do a fantastic job creating a great first impression when you approach the door. Very inviting and the store layout clearly has technique and passion behind it. Not only is the store very neat and organized, but they use some type of air fresheners that make it smell so damn good inside, I feel like I’m back home. You can find anything in this place. Surfboards, tools, guns, ammo, clothing, hats, mid century modern furniture, flags. If they sold groceries I’d never leave the place. Lastly, customer service was more than my wife and I could ask for. At no point did we feel pressured to buy anything. The shop’s staff seemed to treat every customer with respect, regardless of your views of our country’s current state. Felt like I’ve know these people my whole life after talking with them for a good half hour.

The ladies at 312 Pawn are awesome. This store is not your typical pawn shop. They have all sorts of unique things. I walked in to do a firearms transfer and walked out with a piece of local artwork, a beautiful card, and a couple of other cool things. My girlfriend loved it. All sorts of beach stuff, surf boards, boogie boards, new clothes, Knick knacks, and other stuff. I will be back.

They offered the cheapest transfer fee (complete with a MIL/LE discount) that I could find in town. I had my CMP firearm shipped to them and they were super efficient from the moment I walked in the door. While I was waiting on the background I kept shopping and found many other cool things. Best pawn shop in town! Been using 312 Pawn as my FFL site. Dana is always gracious and after just a few times coming in she knew me by name and has for years. All of the staff throughout the years have been helpful and very knowledgeable and most importantly nice!! Dana doesn’t really have any junk stuff that you find at most other pawn shops. Being close to the beach it’s the best place to pick up fishing poles or surfboards. She has a fine selection of jewelry, guns, some furniture, boots, sunglasses and many other items and accessories.
