I stayed here for 2 nights for business this time, however, this is the second time Iāve stayed here. I liked it so much, I went out of my way to reserve this hotel again. Rooms: I booked a King suite, which included a full kitchen (stove top, microwave, full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, and single serve coffee maker). The room was very clean and they included 2 little caramels on my first night as well as 2 chocolate covered caramels with almonds inside on my second night (they clean the room each night). The room has very cute/modern decor with plenty of lighting. Fitness center: includes cardio equipment (treadmills and elliptical), dumbbells that go up to 50 lbs, 2 benches, cable machine, exercise balls, a trx band, exercise mats, as well as resistance bands with handles. Itās very clean and the two treadmills are very nice for a hotel gym. Itās a very small room, but all 3 times Iāve worked out in there, only one other person has come in on 2 separate occasions so thereās plenty of room. Parking: thereās a parking deck right outside of the front entrance, but you need to get a parking pass when you check-in so you donāt get towed/fined because it is public parking for all of the stores/restaurants around as well. Parking for the hotel is only on the second floor and higher, but there are plenty of spaces. Surrounding area: thereās a Target, Pottery Barn, a cute little cafe, Home Depot, plus several other stores (I think thereās also a grocery store/market) within walking distance to the hotel. My only issue during my stay was when I came back to my room after work on the second day (around 2pm) and someone opened the door to my room without knocking, but the door caught on the little security latch. I called the front desk to see if it was housekeeping or some rando, they called housekeeping and confirmed they were doing their second check after cleaning to ensure everything was taken care of. So as a warning to those who might be chilling in your room during the early afternoon, housekeeping may come back a second time after they already cleaned your room if you donāt have the āDo Not Disturbā sign out. I was a little freaked out when my door randomly opened, but reassured after the front desk checked with housekeeping, so overall it wasnāt a big deal. They were very kind about the whole situation. All in all, Iād definitely recommend staying here, and Iāll definitely be back the next time Iām in the area as well.

I stayed for two nights (Friday/Saturday) to extend some work travel while taking advantage of a discount offered by the hotel. Staff handled check-in courteously and expeditiously. Complimentary parking was located in garage across from hotel (would have been nice to know on email confirmations). My room happened to be in a corner on the second floor. The room was predictably clean. I appreciated a couple of small things such as complimentary bottled water, Malin&Goetz bath amenities, and a couple of books for reading if I was interested (I was not but appreciated the gesture). The bed and sofa both had firmer feels than other hotels at which I have stayed. (Both were acceptable though and maybe understandable given their newness with the renovation). The shower design somehow encourages water to pool rather than drain, so I hope something can be done maintenance wise as they renovate. Road noise is noticeable until midnight, so I would request a room at a higher floor and facing away from Lee Highway. Prices at first glance do not seem terribly unreasonable without the discount (hopefully they will stay reasonable after the renovations finish later this year). All in all the location proves a great reason to stay for a night or two and eat through Mosaic and surrounding restaurants within walking distance and movie watching at the Angelika. One could feel good supporting a boutique hotel brand staying here.

Thanks to the staff that Archer has put together we are now Archer junkies. We have now stayed in all three in VA and in Austin. We will continue to scope this brand out in other parts of the country as the need arises. The Archer in Falls Church is no exception. This was our longest of our stays at two weeks. I could not ask for more of the staff from the reception desk, the morning staff serving a delicious breakfast to all the staff members we met in between. (BTW, this is the only Archer we have stayed in that serves a continental breakfast - what a great perk!) To say they care about the guests is an understatement - they make a genuine effort to get to know you and help you whenever possible. Archer makes your stay a home away from home and it was actually sad to say goodbye. Not only did my husband and I feel this way - but in speaking with other guests, they had the same opinion of the establishment. As far as our stay in all three locations in VA - we really enjoyed Falls Church as the Mosaic District was incredibly convenient. I wish I could give a shout out to all, but at the very least thank you Jan, Lloyd and Bryson for going the extra mile to make our stay above and beyond! I hope you win all the awards you strive for! You have our vote!

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel. This hotel "understood the assignment" when it came to true customer service. Booked this hotel for my senior parents visiting from southern VA. Front desk, friendly, polite and smiled every - single - day. They immediately, with no problems, upgraded my parents room to a studio because my dad was weary of staying on a floor above 3. The boxed breakfasts were nutritious, delicious and high in protein. The hotel was spotless and smelled nice and fresh. All hand sanitizer stations were filled and usable. No hassle parking. From the complementary bedroom slippers, to the bottled water, just and all around EXCEPTIONAL experience. Great location. My parents were very pleased and LOVED the comfortable bed. They also felt very safe in the area. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel, especially for seniors.

Great place that is near a lot of stores and restaurants. You donāt have to walk far. Itās really kept clean and itās quiet for the most part. They have small gym where you work out at. The complimentary breakfast was good. breakfast The rooms were nice cozy made me like I was home.
