The thing about this place is it's convenient, a typical strip mall and with typical chain stores like Ross, PetSmart, Target, Sally Beauty Supplies, Micheal's, Best Buy. There's the food restaurants like Applebee's, Chick-fil-A, Taco Cabana and others and your non-descript stores no one cares about like stupid floor tiles, an expensive bike store no one who's smart with their money will waste it there unless you like over paying for quality bikes and bike parts you can find on Amazon cheaper? I get it, support the local business so do it as what's suitable to you and your community wishes and bottom line? For those needing a COVID test, and urgent care, there's Exel Urgent Care in this strip mall. There's also a Capital One Bank and across the way across the street some typical eyeglass optometrist store, a Firestone Car Center, Lowe's, El Pollo Rico, Arby's, and a Navy Federal Credit Union. Unfortunately as with most of Texas, you will NOT find a real adult 21&over dance club, a party spot for adults in the Cypress/Houston/Katy Metroplex for folks that live in the suburbs!! That's probably the most disappointing thing about this strip mall... It's so atypical!! Shop, go with your family, do the same routines, but don't enjoy yourself ever!! I know people reading this review understand what I'm talking about!? And there's no human trafficking "massage parlour" or Asian massage place in this strip mall...keep heading into the crusty areas of Houston, you'll find them there!! Lmao 🤣😂 Just a heads up!! This isn't the strip mall with those crusty nearby hotels along 290 (Knight's Inn...In-Town Suites ..) if you're looking for that, you find it along 290 and TX Hwy.6 and FM 1960.... This strip mall is for "families" of a higher class.. just making light that this strip mall has only the typical begging family (there's a frequent young black resident family with 2 children - a baby and a woman with a shower cap who are capable of working but want to take your money if you give it to them feeling sorry for these working age adults who are perpetrating a fraud homeless situation to just prey on your donation and your emotions and weakness)...you'll see them 290 days a year in this strip mall and the passing street bum that lives under the nearby freeway underpass...(the ones who can wave a sign but can't get a real job being a sign...
Read moreThe area has gotten worse. The criminals are more bold. Fake homeless who ask for money bothered me and my friend they had their friends staring at us while this fake homeless woman asked for money...she was dressed better then me and had a Prada bag for gods sake. Her friends were hiding in their cars slouched down in their seats. If security and police didnt stand nearby by happenstance we may have been attacked in that small fountain area with the bushes behind the bank of america bank. Stay away from that area. That whole shopping plaza attracts these people. Me and my friend were not dressed well so yeah, Houston sucks and is getting worse. Everyone should carry guns now days.
Even this blind guy was waving his cane while moving fast and wild. Made me think he wasnt really blind. He kept covering the same area back and forth never crossing the street. Very strange. The people at their movie theater dont smile. The only 2 places that seemed safe and happy was the fire and water fountain and the big expensive restaurant across the street from it that also had a fire display. Aside from that, I think I will only go there...
Read moreI LOVE THIS PLACE, BECAUSE I CAN RELAX, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A HOME GOOD STORE, THE LAST TIME I HAD IN THE STORE, A WOMAN SPOKE ME IN A RUDE TONE SHE SAID THAT I COULD NOT GO TO THE END OF THE HALL TO GET SOMETHING THAT I NEEDED IT, BECAUSE THEY WOULD CLOSE AT 8:00, HOWEVER I WAS WITHIN THE STORE AS 2 HOURS, I ONLY TRIED TO BUY THE GIFT FOR MOTHERS 'DAY, AND HAD ENOUGH TIME TO FIND IT, EVEN BECAUSE THE LINE TO PAY IT WAS VERY LONG. AFTER I DECIDED TO LEAVE WITHOUT RESOLVING MY PROBLEM, BUT I STOPPED TO BUY A SWEET CANDY AND THE WOMAN AT THE REGISTER WAS SO RUDE, THAT NEITHER GAVE ME A BAG TO WRAP...
