Most disgusting experience I have EVER had at a dollar tree location. I have been to many Dollar Trees throughout the east coast and have never been treated so disrespectfully by an employee let alone manager at any location. The manager on shift was extremely disrespectful to myself and family as well as leaving only one cashier on register during a hurricane. Said cashier asked for backup and no one would come up including said manger on duty. The situation that happened was my two cousins myself and my nephew were in an isle waiting for the rest of our family. My cousin sitting on the floor myself on a shelf which was already empty. Said manager on shift , which unfortunately I did not get their name because I was so taken aback by their behavior and attitude. Said manager comes by the isle and says “are you ok?!” In a very rude tone. So I proceed to ask if she was referring to my nephew as he was running and playing. She continues to blankly stare at all of us for a good ten seconds then asks “are you ok what are you doing?!” I said TWICE were waiting for the rest of the people we are with because the first time she did not hear me so I repeated it again clearer. She then says “why you sitting on that shelf can you get off!”. I calmly get up and say nothing. She then, as she’s walking away says “the things you see in dollar tree”. I then said “well I feel like there was a better way you could have asked me to not sit on the shelf and get up.” Had she said excuse me ma’am can you get off of the shelf or that’s not allowed of course no issues getting up but the WAY she addressed us was VERY rude and condescending. I don’t appreciate being spoken to in that way when I am going into an establishment to spend money. Dollar tree is one of my favorite stores for how economic it is but their manager at this location need to have better job training in customer service. The reason I know she was a manager is because she had a darker green shirt then the rest of employees. Otherwise the cashier although left alone after calling for backup...
Read moreI recently purchased balloons at another DollarTree location and was told that I could return to ANY DollarTree to have them filled with helium as long as I had the receipt. I went to the West Colonial location because it is the closest DollarTree to my home and to the event I was hosting, and when I went to get my balloons filled they were very rude and informed me that I had to drive to the location where I purchased the balloons and that I had too many for them to fill. I had to drive all the way to the Wintergarden location and by the time I returned to my event half of them were deflated from the heat in the car. I was never questioned at the Wintergarden location about which location I purshased the balloons from. This is not the first time I’ve encountered problems at the West Colonial location. The staff and the management at this location are very rude and I will not be shopping there anymore. I will gladly drive to the Wintergarden location where the staff is friendly and helpful even though it is far...
Read moreI just wanted to take a moment to recognize Roopchand at this Dollar Tree location for his outstanding customer service and professionalism. Every time I visit, he is friendly, approachable, and extremely knowledgeable about the store and its inventory. No matter what I’m looking for, he’s quick to help and always does so with a smile.
This store itself is always well-stocked, clean, and organized, making it so much easier to find what I need compared to other locations. You can tell there’s pride in how this store is run, and Roopchand is a big part of that positive shopping experience.
Because of the great service and how well-maintained this location is, I always prefer shopping here over other Dollar Tree stores in the area. Thank you, Roopchand, for making every visit a pleasant...
