Alien Terror has upgraded Escape the Netherworld to an entirely new level. We have always adored the escape rooms here because of the incredible set dressing and have given them a pass on less thought-provoking puzzles. Alien Terror has it all. I have never been so stressed during an escape room, haunted house, etc. Escape the Netherworld has absolutely perfected the formula for horror escape rooms. More detailed review of the location below! 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 Every room here excels at immersion, with honorable mentions of Tiki Island and Sasquatch. Netherworld taps into its rich history and unbelievable collection of stationary and animatronic props to cover every inch of every room with immersive content. No screens or walkie talkies, and they make a valiant effort at theme-appropriate locks. Rooms have enough lore to keep you interested but not so much that you become distracted from the task at hand. 𝗣𝘂𝘇𝘇𝗹𝗲𝘀 Many puzzles may fall into the "locks and boxes" trope or become repetitive. Nosferatu and Tiki Island are probably the most lacking in this area. Alien Terror stands apart as a lifeform of its own with stellar puzzles, incredibly cohesive flow, and several puzzles that invoked reactions of "No way!" and "Are you **ing serious?" They're that cool. 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 We have always had fabulous experiences with game masters here and appreciate the flexible clues. Hint delivery is built into Haunted in a creative way - other rooms may have an omniscient GM but the great ones do make an effort to stylize their delivery so that it isn't immersion-breaking. 𝙒𝘼𝙍𝙉𝙄𝙉𝙂 While many escape room locations may tout rooms as "scary" or "horror" themed, Escape the Netherworld has achieved mastery in the art of terrifying its guests. Expect to sweat, jump, tremble, and scream, MORE than in your average scary movie or haunted house. Prepare yourself that you may enter thinking you're a bad* and leave with your tail tucked.

This was room number 143 for my daughter and me. Netherworld is where we cut our teeth on Escape Rooms in 2018 and it got us hooked since we love horror as well as solving the puzzles in an escape room. It is the 5th room at Escape The Netherworld which just opened (we had done the others multiple times because they are so good.) This experience did not disappoint and we got Mark, who is such an excellent Game Master as well as an overall nice guy. Unlike some other places, he wants players to succeed and get through the whole experience because it makes rooms more enjoyable. He gave us excellent clues when we asked for them as well as provided hints (and nudges) when we needed them (and we DID NEED THEM!) This room has a great story line, excellent (and working) tech, puzzles that further the story, and a wonderful sense of horror and suspense, but given all that, the Game Master is the key essential part to a having a great Escape Room experience! Our favorite (and toughest room) at Netherworld is Nosferatu, which still ranks as the best room ever for us in Georgia.

If your looking for something a little different, intense, and safe, this is the place to visit. They have three separate escape rooms that are real brain teasers, you'll need to think inside and outside the box for this place. You have to take note of everything around you and what is happening, and if riddles are your thing, then you will love this place. Sqauch is intensely creepy, VanHelsing is creepy in it's own dreary way, and Haunted speaks for it's self. Each one has it's own unique feel and puzzles, and ending, if you make it that far. The staff there are great and so friendly, if you have any questions, ask them, they will do what ever they can in their power to make your visit one that you'll talk about for years to come. Do I recommend this place, Yes to the fullest, you won't be disappointed. You will need at least 4 people to play, but you can join others to fill a time slot. Work together and talk to everyone, that is a key to success.

My groups experience here is going to be hard to fit in one review. I’ll start with saying that the staff here is AMAZING. Every single one of them love their job and you can tell that they are treated well. We have done about 100 rooms on the East coast and NetherWorld is definitely in the top 5. The rooms are insane! We ended up doing all four in the same day. We are now the 1st place team getting out of Tiki! We loved them all but Tiki & Haunted were by far our favorites. The props and puzzles here go unmatched. There is also a museum that you can do which is very impressive itself. We will definitely be making a trip back to Atlanta to do any new rooms or experiences that NetherWorld comes up with.
