I recently completed the HPP multi-state CCW class and was extremely impressed with the entire experience. From start to finish, Ken and Maggie were professional, knowledgeable, and intentional about equipping responsible citizens—not just to pass, but to truly understand the responsibility that comes with concealed carry.

They worked together as a fantastic team—Ken brought clarity and real-world insight, while Maggie made sure no detail slipped through the cracks. The classroom portion was clear and engaging, with real-world scenarios and a strong emphasis on safety and situational awareness. They didn’t just check boxes—they made sure we understood the legal and moral aspects of self-defense, including critical decision-making under stress.

The range qualification was organized and safe, with clear instructions and patient guidance for shooters of all experience levels. I appreciated how they balanced high standards with encouragement, making everyone feel confident and capable.

This is not just a “certificate mill”—Ken and Maggie genuinely care about training people to be competent, law-abiding, and prepared. I left the course feeling more confident and more convicted about my role in protecting my family and my community.

I took the MULTI-STATE CCW COURSE @ BASS PRO SHOPS 10/21/23. First off, let me say that this was my second time that I was firing a handgun. So walking into the class, I was already nervous. However, after sitting in the class, listening the depth of information that Ken and Charles had to give us, I stepped into the shooting range for the qualifying rounds, with more confidence. Yes, I guess everyone is nervous, buy knowing that Ken had my back and was there in case I needed feedback in the range, made me go through the shooting part like nothing. Seeing the energy and enthusiasm that they teach this class with is amazing! They keep you completely involved and have you participate in scenarios, and do not just sit there for 8+ hours of talking. They really put in the extra effort to teach to their students. I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking to obtain their CCW. I have purchased their package to do more training courses. Take advantage of the special prices when you purchase during a class! I KNOW that the better prepared I am, the BETTER outcome I will have if I am ever in a situation where I have to PROTECT my loved ones and myself. Definitely giving them 5 out of 5! This class taught by Maggie & Ken, with others was Splendid! The class was brought up to date on all the laws and regulations that have changed, along with strong emphasis on the ability and legal mannerisms to protect yourself, family and others if ever required in an emergency situation in today's violent world atmosphere. Their presentation made sure that the entire class was able to understand, absorb and grasp the facts, in order to pass the test and retain their learnings. Additional facts and possible scenarios were mentioned as a benefit, such as holster selection and body wear position, how to select a comfortable pistol, variations of self defense function for different calibers and more. A touch of humor kept the class interesting and was appreciated. All questions were answered before class was dismissed, assuring nobody let guessing. My sole slight dislike was the claustrophobic range conditions and hurried scene due to Bass Pro being extremely busy; but could simulate that to a real scenario, thus ignoring the tight space. I am looking forward to and would highly recommend Maggie & Ken's alternate training classes for betterment of all skills and safety factors regarding concealed and firing of...
