Island Falls Adventure Golf — Attraction in Fernandina Beach

Needs some TLC... The courses, for example, needed to be cleared. There was quite a lot of leaves, bark, etc on them. One thing happened there that I have never have seen happen at a mini-golf or putt-putt place (I've been going to them for over 25 years): an employee (maybe the manager?) went around to each party reminding them all of the 5 stroke rule. We were well-aware, and this just made us feel rushed (we were a party of two). If the employee was so worried about back-ups, he really should have addressed the parties of 6, 7, and 8. The scorecard said no more than 5 people per group anyway... so, it seems like that rule was the one that needed to be enforced. Not sure why he addressed our party of two and made us feel like we had to hurry, hurry, hurry.

Took my wife here for a fun Valentine's Day date. It was our first time going to Island Falls and I was hoping to get a large, fun, golf course with waterfalls and unique holes. This place nailed it. No complaints about any hole, all were fun and different from the last one. We went on a Sunday around 1 and were expecting some lines and crowds. While it was decently busy, we didn't find ourselves waiting to shoot or rushed from the people behind us. After our game we ended up at the club house and decided to get some ice cream. I wasn't expecting anything crazy from the small concessions they had available but was blown away by how good my ice cream was. My wife also loved hers. I got the cappuccino flavor, try it. Overall it was a great experience and not a bad way to spend $40 for 2 people for 2...

Just visited and had a great time. We are both seniors 70+ and played in mid afternoon 90°+. There is ample shade and sufficient breeze that day to make it tolerable. If you don't mind the heat there was no crowd and we still had a great time. Obviously at night cooler but more people. The course is in great shape, new carpeting, all the "secret" shortcut tubes were functioning and the water features added to the atmosphere especially at night. The holes are tricky and can act as a great equalizer, including the 17 1/2 hole. A lot of fun and when you're done you can enjoy the ice cream and snackbar. The staff was attentive...
