I WILL NOT RETURN-Will try the new nail salon by the new Publix on Sam's Crossing Reasons:
Younger male technician with the tattoo on the right side of his neck was SOOOO RUDE and NASTY. He had an attitude as soon as he looked my way when he was told what I wanted done to my nails. He either didn't want to work on me or didn't want to be at work. He was not friendly AT ALL. Argued with me and stopped in middle of adding tips to my nails because I pointed out that two nails were uneven and too short and I wanted them done again. I sure he was speaking badly about me in Vietnamese as he walked away with a BIG ATTITUDE.
Gel polish (15 dollars extra) on my pedicure started peeling about 4 hours after getting them done. Thank goodness I was doing some shopping in plaza. I had to return and get them fixed. I had groceries in the car at this point as that was my last stop. Although the tech worked as fast as she could, my groceries were very soft and started to melt.
Booking the appointment online was pointless. The man who greeted me at the door asked what I wanted done multiple times. When I stated that I booked online with a tech that wasn't there (I found this out later), he looked confused. He didn't ask me my name or phone number to look it up. What is the point of indicating what I wanted online? Waste of time. Even after going back and forth about my desired services, there was still confusion.
Pedicure chairs were not clean. I found hair the the tub (which the tech cleaned immediately after I pointed it out) and the tables looked like they hadn't been wiped down for a long time. There were left over stains from food or other unknown substances.
Julie did my nails and they look nice. My pedicure looked much better the second time around and the pedicure tech was nice, but I will not be back. Horrible...
Read moreThe only reason I would not rate it one star is because the woman who did my feet did such a great job. But the man who did my nails… He knew! I literally stopped him because my nails were rippling after I removed them from the light and he continued saying “I’m going to add another coat” by the time he gets to the end it’s chunky, you can see the strikes on my nails from the polish, it’s bubbly looking etc. I make my way to pay but I’m thinking at this point we both saw my nails so I should get a discount.. Nope! They offer to re do them after I just sat there the first time but I couldn’t. I made an appointment during lunch and don’t get off until late THEN i don’t live on this side of town. The amount of money i’ll have to put in my tank to come back I’ll just pay for a color change at a salon by my house. And when I explain that… but no the manager i’m assuming is going to give me a deadline on when I can come back… The fact that you knew my nails looked bad and wouldn’t even offer a discount for YOUR employees’ bad services. Nope I don’t recommend to anyone. Because how am I paying close to $70 full price with a deadline to come back after I said something during the service with no discount… No. Don’t go to a place so money hungry they won’t even give $10...
Read moreI went to get a fill in on Friday, September 1 with Gel Polish. A man did my nails and by Saturday afternoon, 2 of my nails had chipped. By Sunday, there were 3 chipped. I went back Tuesday, September 5 to have them correct them and a lady fixed them, but had an attitude the entire time as if I had done something wrong. When I asked her why she thought they chipped, she nonchalantly said, "I don't know." Then I wake up this morning, September 6 to get ready for work, and 2 MORE nails have chipped, including one the lady apparently fixed yesterday! I am beyond upset and frustrated with this salon! I don't know if they are using cheap products or if the nail techs are inexperienced, but this is UNACCEPTABLE. I went to another nail salon near my home last month to get my nails done before vacation and was at the beach, in and out the ocean, and in the pool and my polish NEVER chipped and I had them for 3 weeks! I've been to Luxury Nails plenty of times for pedicures because I work in the area, but September 1 was my first time getting my nails done here and will NEVER go back. I spent over $100 getting my nails and toes done and in 5 days, I've had 5 nails chip, after 2 nail technicians worked on my nails. A waste of my...
