I wanted to give an update with a more recent review since the one I have done was two years ago. Just wanna say it’s been six years that I’ve been going to this location and it is still one of the most clean, consistent, well organized resale shops in the area. You know you’re getting good clean items you’re not gonna find a broken zipper later on or a Hidden stain because they thoroughly go through everything and there’s always a new sale on so if you see something you like but it’s a little out of your price range ask them when they have a sale coming up on that category of clothing and I’ll let you know . So I just wanted to say thank you to once upon a child for maintaining your high standards and rigorous examination of clothing so that moms like me know that they are getting the highest quality of authentic name brands at the best price around. Both as a buyer and a seller I trust you and you have consistently maintained my trust and my patronage. On that note I’m on my way up there right now with a basket full of clothing to swap out for some new items for Christmas. This is my review from two years ago I still stand behind everything I said in this review.
Fair and honest about conditions of items that they are rejecting. They are very clear on their website about what items they are currently taking and what brand they except. Make sure that all of your clothing is clean lint free no pet hair no stains no pilling and no loose threads make sure that is not turned inside out and stack them neatly in a box where they are all laid out flat do not fold. That way when you get there you can just transfer them from your box into the tote they will quickly go through them and in around 30 minutes they will have your items finished inventoried and money in your hand along with any items they may have rejected. To get the best possible outcome keep your expectations realistic and make sure that all of your clothing is properly organized and ready to go. You are unlikely to get more than a dollar for any one item considering most of your items are sold for around 3 to 6 dollars. The best and most accurate formula I’ve been able to come up with is this count all of the items clothing you have now multiply it by $0.35 that’s about the sum of what you’re...
Read moreI used to have nothing but good things to say about this store, but after the last two experiences I've had selling items to them, I am not sure that I will ever go back. This most recent experience was this past week, when I took in two pairs of Air Jordan shoes, both in great condition and both of the pairs selling online in the same condition for almost $200 per pair mind you, an Air Jordan hoodie and Air Jordan graphic T-shirt that were both in new condition, a pair of girls True Religion denim shorts that were also in great condition, and a pair of Nike jogging pants that were never worn and in new condition Imagine my surprise when they only offer me $12 for all of it! Basically offering me $2 per item. Since I also shop there sometimes while I am waiting for them to complete my buy, and I frequently am looking for Air Jordan baby stuff, I happen to know that they will sell each item of Air Jordan clothing for no less than $10 each, and I'm sure will mark the shoes up 4x that much at least, since I've seen regular Nike shoes in there marked at at least $12 each and I'm sure the True Religion will be priced at even more than any of the above items mentioned. I understand that this is a business and they need to make a profit as well, and I'm even ok with them making more of a profit than I do, but not 5x more profit than I do when I am the one who had the initial expense of buying these clothing items brand new from the store! I paid well over $150 each pair of Air Jordan shoes when they were new from Foot Locker! $2 is an insult, and for items such as these I can't find any logical excuse for them to be offering such a low price especially when these were all sizes for older kids which they happen to be claiming that they are in the most need of...
Read moreI think I’ll stick to just kid to kid off Louetta from now on. This store stinks, and the customer service is poor. Plus everything I saw was terrible looking with either stains, rips, holes, or all three! Don’t bother, not worth your time. Oh by the way, there is an employee there that apparently was checking out my husband as he bent over to pick up something off the floor. She looked him up and down and pinched his butt. When we complained to the manager about this, we were told we were imagining it. Just avoid this store at all cost if you know what’s good for you.
Added on after response from the owner: I am not the owner of kid to kid nor do I have any direct affiliation with them. I tried to give your store a shot after a kid to kid employee named Tiffany recommended me to check you out since I couldn’t at the time find what I needed. I honestly tried it, and everything I said above is 100 percent true. How about instead of making up excuses and posting blame on someone else and claiming I could possibly be the owner of the place, you fix the problem?! Your employees are rude, absolutely rude! The products were not up to what I saw as good, meaning they had stains. Instead of trying to flood the review page with good reviews probably posted by your employees (I’ve seen a few people there with the same first name as some of these reviews, plus you getting like 5 of them all within the same week, yeah not suspicious at all) how about reaching out? Maybe call the owner of kid to Kid and ask her. Thought about that? No? No. You’re too busy making up excuses to fix the problems in the first place. I post an HONEST review, and sure enough I get told by the owner that I am doing such a thing? Again, how about FIX...
