I would give this store 0 zero stars if possible. 1st visit was actually decent. I came on a Saturday with a few items just to get an idea of pricing and the lady at the desk was cordial and helpful. I thought the price she offered for my items was reasonable so I decided I would come back. I returned today and this man, Ryan, who claims to be the owner, priced my items so ridiculously low, I might as well have donated them. $ 2 for a BRAND NEW SILK THEORY ROMPER?????? (Shown in photos) BRAND NEW! WITH TAGS ATTACHED!???
And when I made the "mistake" of expressing confusion at his pricing he huffed at me telling me it was his store and how he knows women's clothing and literally told me to leave! The level of disrespect and down right rudeness is unparalleled! Suffice to say I'll definitely NEVER return! There are far better resale stores, Uptown cheapskate, LABELS boutique and backbypopular demand just to name a few.
Do yourself a favor and just skip this one!
2nd Edit/ response. Ryan, I never called you a " dumb" man. I said in my years of experience dealing with resale and consignment stores, I find women generally have a better understanding of women's fashions and their pricing than men do. YOU DECIDED that it meant I was calling you a " dumb man" and threw my items at me and told me to leave! You were extremely disrespectful and YOU ESCALATED THE SITUATION AND TURNED IT INTO A BIG SCENE! Your behavior yesterday was so appalling, I'm shocked that the lovely lady who helped me during my first visit is your wife, and yes, your behavior was bad enough to make me never want to ever cross paths with you again. Learn to treat people with decency.. You never know who you are dealing with. Everyone deserves respect. Even black people who are trying to sell items at your store. Oh, I have added photos of the " extremely distressed shoes" for the reviewers to see and judge, since you are so prone to hyperbole and exaggeration.
You didn't have to agree with my comment.
You could have simply explained why the pricing is low, like you just did in your combative response. That is a reasonable and appropriate reaction. Throwing my items at me and speaking to me in a derogatory manner while asking me to leave IS NOT. I will NEVER set foot in your...
Read moreThe store has plenty of merchandise, not the greatest diversity though. And the employees, they're not rude, but they're too busy trying to get out of there it seems like as soon as possible and that's hours before it's even closing time, they make you feel like you're an inconvenience. They don't offer any customer service whatsoever. Even when they ring you up it's like they're annoyed. I spent over $ 150 and it seemed as if the female that rang me up with angry about that because it was too much merchandise for her to have to deal with. So the atmosphere kind of sucks, doesn't make you get in the mood for shopping, and it's not a pleasant experience. At all the Plato's Closets around there and Kennesaw and Marietta and Acworth and all the way to Buckhead, this one would be the worst. Organization needs to be had, merchandising could be better, and fire every employee, start with all new fresh employees. People that want to work and enjoy working with other people. For me , I didn't need any help, however I never got offered any either. Other people that were shopping there were asking questions as well and I could tell from facial expressions and some of the things they said, they weren't too pleased with the customer service as well. It's a hot mess in there guys get your act together. Shopping is supposed to be fun. And a retail job is a great job, trust me I know I've done it for 23 years! In all my management years, 20 years of that, if I had walked in and see my employees just standing around doing nothing and talking and not helping whatsoever my customers and my store look like the flea market or a Goodwill turned upside down, I'd have been livid. I would have closed my store right then fired every one of my employees, and started right from the ground up. That's just my opinion, and opinions are like well you know the expression and everyone has one. This one's mine. Good luck to the owner. Stop in your shop and see what's up from...
Read moreFirst off I would like to say I have never written a review for anything good or bad- if something is wrong with my visit I just chalk it up to an off day for the staff. But after reading other reviews for this location I know my experience was not just an "off day" for the employees. The staff obviously could not care less about their jobs or customers (which was seen in how dirty the store and bathrooms were) and by how I watched the lady who initially took my clothes "to go over them" literally pick each item out of the bag and throw them to another part of the counter, barely even glancing at the clothes. She was so disinterested in what she was doing I could tell she was trying to find anything as an excuse to leave the area-which she did multiple times, making me wait even longer to be handed back 95% of my brand name clothes in a huge unorganized pile only to be told they were not going to buy them.
All of the clothes I was trying to sell were American Eagle, Hollister, and Abercrombie brands and were all current styles and had hardly, if at all, been worn. It was so stunning to me that I was not going to be able to sell them because I even looked on the company's website prior to visiting the store to make sure brands like these were accepted, and all of these brands are specifically mentioned on the website as being in high demand. I also brought in several pairs of shoes to sell and the "computer" generated the offer of $1.25 per pair of ked's that again had never been worn and were definitely in style. I get you are a company and have to make a profit but I looked around the store and identical shoes were being sold for over $15 meaning your profit margin is rediculus and you are trying to take advantage of your customers.
I am not coming back to this location, or this company, unless serious changes are made. This was just about as close to a complete waste of...
