If I could give Fresh One Kitchen a 10-stars review on this scale of 5-stars, I would .. my wife, daughter, and I came across this QSR in Kennesaw, GA after spending the day shopping .. similar to Bibibop up north, Fresh One Kitchen is a QSR where you can customize your own bowl with rice (white, yellow, and Forbidden) roasted potatoes, Sweet Potatoes Noodles, Kale, Spring Mix lettuce, Chopped Romaine lettuce, and Chickpeas), then add up to 4 vegetables (if you want more than 4, it is $0.50 each), and your choice of protein (Angus steak, Garlic Butter Shrimp w/the tails removed, Marinated Tofu, chicken made 3 different ways from Classic to Lemon Pepper to Spicy .. you will also get to select from 4 different sauce and the Garlic Cilantro was so good .. my wife got the shrimp option, my daughter went with the Classic Chicken, and I decided on Marinated Tofu .. all 3 bowls were tasted fantastic and the portions were just right .. BTW, they also have 3 different flavors of Lemonade (trafitional, Hibiscus, and Peach) and all tasted awesome .. one of the owners, I believe his name was "Odidi" (my apology if spelling is incorrect), took time to speak with the four families in the restaurant and everyone seemed to enjoy the interaction .. during our conversation with him, we found out that he actually was part of the Bibibop operation in OH and decided to bring the experience down to Atlanta under the Fresh One Kitchen name .. he also mentioned that there are plans to open more locations in our market .. if you want a good healthy meal and you live in or driving through the Cobb County area including Marietta, Kennesaw, and Acworth on I-75, you should consider taking the Barrett Parkway exit and eat at Fresh One Kitchen (about 1/4 mile off the interstate) .. you'll love the food and the overall dining experience especially if you get a chance to meet and speak with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEvery part of our experience here was delightful. My husband has lots of food allergies and Iām vegan, so we rarely eat out anymore because itās nearly impossible for us both to be able to eat at the same restaurant. However, weāre always looking for that one special place.
We happened to be in the area for some totally other reason, and saw the sign for Fresh One Kitchen. We thought, what the heck, weāll glance at the menu, see if thereās anything we could eat. When we first walked in, we were greeted by smiling employees who welcomed us in. Looking over the selections, it appeared there were a bunch of things we could eat.
Itās a wrap or bowl place, and we went with the bowls, which are nicely sized and generously filled. Some of the ingredients have light seasoning, many of the offerings were a fun twist on something common, like forbidden rice, and sweet potato pasta (they look and taste a lot like clear broad noodles). There were lots of toppings and additions to fill out our already heaping bowls. And if needed, a large selection of dressings, though both my husband and I felt the ingredients were seasoned enough without dressing. The dining area was open, generous, and clean.
Since Fresh One was out of our way, we actually went back up to the counter after eating most of our bowls to order more for the weekend. The owner was there, and he was so much fun to talk to, you could clearly see how passionate he was about the food he was serving, and was, in fact, cooking tofu on the grill when we came in. Fresh One Kitchen was a joy to be in, both the service, the smiles, the people behind the counter who believe in what theyāre serving, and the healthy food with so many options even a vegan and a person allergic to a bunch of common ingredients could eat at with ease and pleasure. We are looking forward...
Read moreThis is 1 of those "wish I could give it Zero Stars." After a few hrs on the road, got off the interstate to grab dinner, only to have to waltz back out. 1st, no baby changing stations in either bathroom. Had to change a diaper out the back of my van in 50° weather - fun fun in 2024! Came back inside to my husband filling our baby's travel cup w/water. There is only maybe 2 tables w/customers and no one in line, so I start to try to figure out the menu - - ofc none of the 4 TV menus are working. The man behind the counter then questions my husband about what he filled in my daughters cup. He explains, oh just water. The man retorts w/he needs to ask permission & that there's cameras watching us. At this point, it felt like dude was saying my hubby was A) Lying & B) Stealing. Not the best vibe when you're tired, hungry, & a 1st time customer. It felt disrespectful & when my husband (quietly) turned to me to say "nevermind, let's just go" the staff had to show his ass & say "you don't have to get mad about it" as if he didn't just push a non-issue. Idk about this area, & what issues they may have w/their customers, but where I'm from, nobody is trying to steal some damn...
