Reef ResortWear — Attraction in Shallotte

While leaving Holden Beach I stopped to buy a tee shirt. While in the store I decided to purchase 3 tee shirts and an I.D. Bracelet. The bracelet needed a name engraved and the tee shirt needed to have a logo pressed onto it. The logo was done immediately but the engraving of 5 letters took about 30 minutes do do. Reason was, the guy doing the engraving also was operating the case register and he waited on 2 or 3 customers that came in and got their merchandise after I did. The kicker was that one of the customers consisted of 2 younger, attractive, sexy females of which he spent considerable time. Then before he could do my engraving, he had to wait on a man that had been waiting but came into the store quite a while after I did. When he finally got around to waiting on me the store had pretty well emptied out. I had a 12 hour drive ahead of me and should have just left and forgotten about the merchandise. Next time, well let me rephrase that, there will be NO NEXT TIME. ...

We go in and they tell us EVERYTHING is 50% off. OK, cool. We found a few things we wanted to buy and go to the register. The total is quadruple what it was supposed to be. The things we wanted had a sticker on them that said $7.49. They kept ringing up 14.99, instead of $3.25 we asked the lady why it wasn't ringing up correctly and asked if the stickers were already reflecting the 50% off. She said no they were not already marked at 50% off and very rudely tried to make us feel stupid about math. I know how to calculate sale prices. I don't think I will be back. I felt it was a big scam. I'll go to the stores that have the same stuff and actually give...

I was recently in holden beach and wasnt aware of this store till the thursday toward the end of my trip. When I walked in I was greeted warmly and promptly. The salesmen were very nice and told me about the 50% off sale which was obviously market up but still unbeatable by the other beach stores. I grabbed 3 beach chairs for myself, wife, and sun for a fraction of the price i could anywhere else. I also met some very nice people and had a fun experience.
