Busy station with exits on both sides of Colesville road with platform above the street level. Next to it bus center but essentially no dedicated parking. The nearest parking is NOAA (but it is usually full), next is Cameron Street parking garage & underground parking at Metro Plaza. If you're commuting from DC ( visiting Fillmore Silver Spring) you need exits on right side as you standing your back at DC. For Dacha Beer Garden or Ikko Sushi you need exit on your left. Right now (Spring 2025) part of the platform is under construction for the light rail connection...

The Silver Spring Metro Station is easy to navigate. There are three levels to the station with the buses on two levels, the kiss and ride (for drop-offs, pick-ups, Taxis, Uber and Lyft) on the top level, and the metro train station on the bottom level.

There are departure boards at every stop and maps throughout the station to help you figure out where your bus is.
