Spa Daze — Attraction in Oro Valley

This was my first visit to Spa Daze. By far the best experience I've had from a therapeutic massage location! First off, it was great that I was able to schedule an appointment for next day and in the evening, which was super convenient. The place I'd usually visit was over a week out. Filling out the initial form online is so convenient.

I do have to note and get out of the way the only minor inconvenience experienced with the scheduling (which was resolved). I scheduled and got an automated email that the therapist would have to confirm. I never received the confirmation and got a bit worried, so I had to call a couple times. After the second attempt, I reached Jay who was super helpful. It appears that there may have been an issue with the scheduling system, which initially would've pushed me to an appointment the following day with Amanda, but then I somehow ended up double booked. Regardless, Jay was very understanding and apologetic about the snafu and got it all resolved.

The initial consultation to address the areas of concern for back pain relief with Jessica was great, she covered all of the issues discussed; and for once, when asking for medium pressure, I felt like it was medium pressure. Usually other therapists (from other locations) seem like they're out to make a point to try to ream out the knots and make you flinch with "medium pressure". Some therapists are also overly chatty, which was a relief that Jessica doesn't sit there and chat you up like you're getting a hair cut. Only checking in and making sure you're feeling well.

Every visit I've had with Kristi has been just what I needed. She always asks what worked last time and what I would like to focus on this time. She remembers well what she did in previous sessions. You'll find that from the moment you walk in the door (take a deep breath as it smells sooooo good!) you will be greeted with a calm and happy environment. The rooms are well-appointed and spacious. The only motivator for me to get off the massage table afterwards is that I'll get a lovely piece of chocolate!

Update: I've been seeing Kristi for many months now and with great sadness my next appointment will be my last as I'm moving out of state. When you arrive, you will be first struck my the lovely smells and then the welcoming ambiance. Next you will hear warm greeting from the staff. They will know your name and who you're seeing. It's like walking into your best friend's home -- you know what to expect with great anticipation! And then there's Kristi -- Kristi understands the relationship between your body and your emotions. One area of expertise for her is grief. I'm a recent widow and this process has help my healing tremendously. Grief work doesn't make the grief go away but it does make it more manageable. I highly recommend it. Kristi pays attention to the details large and small. She wants your experience to be as helpful and opening as possible. UPDATE: This review is still very true. I just can't say how much I love this place and feel valued as a person.

I cannot say enough about the quality of the services offered or the customer service. You feel like family there! Life emergencies have been frequent and they have always worked with me despite last minute cancellations and make me feel valued as a person.

I have chronic pain and migraine and am doing trauma work. They have extremely well trained professionals working here (I love you Jessica!) and I feel comfortable and listened to and my needs always met. They are helping me do body work for my trauma and each time listen to what I need.

They have great prices and the stones and face massage and scented oils and energy work are all included in tb standard price.

They also help the community by selling locally made goods and helping with donations to organizations like Emerge.

They are absolutely hands down the best place for a massage...
