These stores always have the cutest gifts for friends, family, or a treat for yourself. Please be aware these store's are considered treasure stores just like Ross, not all stores get the same things (items) so you will or might have to search around for what you are looking for and they do that on purpose to get you into the stores and look around. Always check the clearance section In These stores they usually have great deals and just a little bit of info. If you see something that you just really want but cant pay for it at the time the higher ticket items some stores still have layaway for 10 or 20 % down on the total price but ( no clearance items allowed, jewerly or food) but I have done layaway a couple of times on the higher price purses and just came back and got them. The reusable bags are nice to have in your car for shopping trips or groceries to nti g in the house and they have cute patterns and are sturdy. These stores are mainly reasonable priced on their products they are more expensive than Ross but they usually carry higher quality items bought a pair of kids JORDANS for $22 on clearance at the Marshall's on BunkerHill, which was a nice price for what you would pay at the mall. Happy TREASURE SHOPPING THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO GET OUT THERE..

**EDIT(One of the store managers spoke to me the following day and has been extremely helpful. This was resolved quickly by Eddy G) Tried to purchasing one of these windmills/fans yesterday but didn't have the space in the car. I was told they could only hold them til the end of the night per their policy. I go back today and see this sticker on both items. They are being held until the end of the following day. Which would be over 48 hours (against the policy I was told about). When i wanted to purchase I was told no and that they made an exception for this customer because they spend a lot of money at the store. This is clear classism and favoritism. Extremely unprofessional. HomeGoods management only. I am not sure how the TJ Maxx is

You name it they got it, i love these stores also part of these stores is Marshall's these stores are known as treasure hut stores because you never know what you will find and you might have to go from store to store to find to of the same items. Lots of different items, lots of cute items and lots of the items are at reasonable prices. These are just some of the examples of items they sell. But they carry MK purses & other name brands, they also have Jewelry Dept.'s in most stores, and then of course toys, a baby section, women's & Men's as well as kid's clothing dept. I would suggest you just go look around for yourself for that special deal for yourself, enjoy the hunt for your treasure.. (close comparison to Ross)

I came in for a simple return, and the experience was utterly humiliating and unacceptable, handled poorly by the Assistant Manager Megan A.

I had purchased 2 items and paid a portion by store credit, and the rest by credit card (roughly 15% of the total by store credit and 85% by credit card). My return was about half the cost of what I paid, which was fully covered by the credit card portion.

Since the item I wanted to return was fully covered by the amount I paid on my credit card, the entire refund should have gone back to my card, per standard policy and logic.

However, the Assistant Manager Megan A refused to process the refund correctly, insisting on wanting to issue a new store credit for what I had originally used while only putting the remainder on my card. Her reasoning was because it was store policy. She then refused to process my refund entirely after our argument.

I then went to the TJ Maxx on Memorial Dr and had completely no issues with the return, with the full amount of the item entirely on my credit card. I didn't even have to ask to do this as it was automatic.

Worse than Megan A.'s obviously incorrect 'policy' was the treatment. Her tone and demeanor made me feel publicly scrutinized and humiliated while standing at the busy cashier, as if I was trying to cheat the system. I was left feeling deeply embarrassed and frustrated in front of other shoppers.

This is a failure on two counts: Policy Failure: The manager lacked basic understanding of how split-tender returns work when the return value is less than the credit card portion. Service Failure: Treating a long-time customer with such unprofessionalism and public derision is...

please be careful shopping at this tjmaxx/in this area if you are a woman or if you have daughters. a few days i went to tjmaxx and was recorded by an african american man, wearing all black, about 6 feet tall and he had corn rows in his hair. he put his phone on the floor, leaning against a basket with the back camera pointed at me. he stayed in the aisle that i was in and proceeded to sit down and put on black latex gloves. i left the aisle immediately but saw him circle me twice afterwards. i spoke to the security guard, two staff members, and two managers. one of the managers said in passing, “i think it might be the same guy” which leads me to believe that this has happened before, a man is recording women at this store. please be wary, im not sure why he was targeting me. whether it was because he thought i was alone, i was wearing shorts, or because i look like very young, like a child. in the end, i received no response from this situation, all the employees did was walk me around the entire store saying they’ll look for the guy. it was disappointing and i felt extremely unsafe and paranoid, especially because it was nighttime. i wish the employees had actually done something to help me feel safer. be very aware when you’re going out in public. always keep an eye on your surroundings and the...

I came to this location about 45 minutes before the store closed. Never in my experience as a shopper as a shopper have I been forced to leave the store before it actually closes. You are normally more than welcome to shop until you find your items and then you can leave even if you’re in the store past closing time. There was an extremely short rude lady who told us we had to leave the store because they were going to turn the lights off at the back of the store and it will be a safety hazard for customers to be in the store past closing with the lights off at the back of the store. I ask her to show me the policy where they said the customers have to go to the front of the store once the store has closed its doors even if you have arrived prior to the stores doors closing. She said that there was no policy in place that stated that but, that’s just something that they do at this particular location. There was no professionalism or customer service etiquette in the conversation. As a shopper I don’t feel valued if I’m willing to spend my money and purchase items. I should be allowed to shop if I have arrived to the store prior to the closing time. In all of my 27 years I have never been kicked out of a store that I have been in before the closing time because the associates made up...
