The Shops at Stonefield — Attraction in Charlottesville

If you are looking for something simple, timeless, somewhat dressy... FEDORA has good options for sizes small through large. If you are xl or above, like me, clothing will be more limited, but they also have cute jewelry and scarves. The prices are one of the most reasonable in the Shopping center.

L.LBean, as many are aware has great options for boots, button ups and outerwear.

Burger Bach is not somewhere I would go for a burger, surprisingly, but they have good salads and amazing Triple Cream fries.

Obviously the movie theater is a huge plus for those wanting to relax. Regal is also surrounded by two outstanding Italian restaurants: La Travinia (on the right) and MidiCi (on the left).

La Travinia is a gorgeous, fine dining experience with amazing appetizers like loaded nachos and delicious meals like scallops, classic fettuccine alfredo, and mouthwatering desserts like Lemon Ricotta cheesecake with blueberry compote, Créme Brûlée, and Tiramisu.

MidiCi has soft crispy warm crust with a variety of toppings that bring taste buds soaring into a "this pizza is so good, I don't wanna talk to you 'til I'm done" cloud.

Duck donuts has donuts made from potatoes and has an option for bacon bits on top! need...

I have contacted the county and city to get things moving on road safety.

Learned Stonefield Shops is NOT AT ALL MAINTAINED by the state of Virginia. It happens to be owned from a company based from Florida and New York, O’Connor Capital Partners.

Point of saying that,

One person of the community has already been hit by a car and KILLED. To avoid putting safety features up to prevent that from happening again, in my opinion it is such a dishonor to their death.

Almost seen a young girl and her dog get hit by a driver.

I’ve almost been hit by vehicles multiple times, along with my pet, just in the last couple weeks alone.

I was born and raised in this town; it’s not a city.

Stonefield is a defined place with a pedestrian friendly feel. The plaza core at the theater is really well designed and the field is a nice touch, though underutilized because it lacks enough enclosure. If the one story stores had had office or apartments built above them, this would be a stellar new community. The mix of uses are on site, but are separated, it would have been more vibrant to mix them all together: more messy true, but way more fun. The edges where stonefield connects to the outside are a bit ragged and drivers have trouble making the quick change from highway to town, often running stop signs, which makes me really nervous, especially between the retail and hotel/residential zone. Grit coffee, Mezza, the Theater, trader Joe's, the ice cream shop, duck donuts, LL bean and the restaurants are all really great and make this a place I go to many times a week.
