My package says delivered on June 22. It is now June 28th. My mailbox had a parcel locker key in it but when I opened the locker, there were three packages that belonged to someone else….completely different address and names from my household. I left the packages in the UNLOCKED box hoping that the owner would see it. My package, however, was nowhere to be found. On two separate occasions before this current one, I have found my packages in UNLOCKED parcel lockers. It could have easily been stolen AND I could have very easily taken the packages that I was given full access to in my mailbox also! I’ve called the local office numerous times with no answer. I’ve called the main usps number which I received a case number but still no package. On June 26, I went to the local office to inquire about my package. I also, since the wrong packages were still in the UNLOCKED parcel, took it to usps to ensure it wouldn’t be stolen. I was told to fill out a slip and it would be given to a carrier at 9:00AM once they arrived. On June 27 at 9:46PM, yes PM, I received a missed call with a voicemail following up about my packages and was told to call back at my convenience. I called back immediately and have been calling back all day today, June 28, with still no answers. This is inconvenient and reckless. This shows irresponsibility and carelessness. Someone will be held accountable.
Update: Oct 17, 2023 I let go of the last issue above once I SOLVED IT MYSELF! I literally had to wait outside for the mailman and insisted that he check the other mailboxes. Once he finally checked… to his surprise, it was in the wrong mailbox just as I suspected!
Separate occasion….I knocked and rang the doorbell several times to get my mailbox key that I was called and told to pick up. I have had several issues with this one and only post office. SANDRA at the blue door was highly unprofessional. After ringing the doorbell and knocking for several minutes, I received no response. I requested several times to be serviced because it is now almost 4:30 and the office closes at 5:00. I had been waiting for about ten minutes with no acknowledgment. The older lady that is always stationed to the very left responded passive aggressively when I asked if she was closed stating, “you know I am.” Sandra then jumped in and said, “I’m coming.” I asked how long and she replied, “ I’m coming, I’ll be there.” Sandra finally came to the door smacking on gum with the AirPods in her ear rushing me to get my ID saying repeatedly,” I ain’t got time, I ain’t got time. What’s your address cause ain got time. ” She also apologized to me and the gentleman behind me VERY nonchalantly and robotic for waiting. The way she spoke to me and her body language screamed the annoyance she had with me and that she was only interested in getting rid of me. It is very clear that Sandra has instilled fear in her coworkers and based on her customer service skills, Sandra has no consequences to her actions or just doesn’t care. I asked, “your name is Sandra right.” She proudly gestured to her name tag while smacking on her gum, “yeah it’s Sandra.” If someone had at least acknowledged us outside the door today and asked us to hold for a minute then treated us with respect, I would be fine. However, that wasn’t the case. I understand sometimes it’s busy. It’s not the waiting for me. It’s the terrible customer service. Unfortunately, my address is assigned to this location and due to their horrible customer service, I may encounter them again. Therefore, I won’t be letting this issue go this time. Something has to change. As for Sandra, you should be ashamed. Control and misery...
Read moreRude and lazy people who don't do their jobs at all!!!! They refuse to do re-deliver packages because they are so lazy, even though we have the option to schedule them. They only say,"Oh, we don't do that! You have to come pick them up yourself!" Some packages from the UK I got weren't delivered, and they didn't even leave pick up slips! They called me, and told me I had to pick them up. The rude lady on the phone said they were re-sending me slips. Why bother when you could just give me my packages? They were never sent. I tried to reschedule the delivery and told the slips were never sent since I was told they were being re-sent. The rude lady calls me again, and the voice message said they refused to send my packages since I wasn't there the first attempt. Then she had the nerve to call me a liar! "I never said they were re-sending the slips, they were already sent to you." I checked my house, and even my neighbor's houses, because they are constantly mixing up our mail and packages. Most of the time, my neighbors are the ones bringing my packages. Just recently, they sent two of my packages back to France and another to Japan. I had to pay a lot of money since they were both international. I had email notifications on for all updates, so nobody bothered to contact me at all. They just sent them back, and when I went to the post office I didn't know this. They just said they don't do holds for items under "deliverable as addressed." I checked my paypal address, and everything was correct there, and the package from Japan, I always order from this place. They know me as a regular, so I doubt they got my address wrong. To have two packages undelivered in a row is just suspicious to me. My honest belief is that they are handling packages roughly and damaging them so that the address is being torn off or damaged away. It really wouldn't surprise me since they are so irresponsible and lazy. Now I have to contact my sellers from France and Japan, and re-pay the expensive shipping to have them resent to me. That is, if my post office can correctly send them back. I'm worried because of much lack of effort they put into helping people. For all I know, they could be sitting at the post office, and the man there just was too lazy to help me at all. I would leave 0 stars if I could. By far the worst post office I've ever had to deal. Mistakes happen, but my other post offices I used to live near where helpful and could figure out where things are. These people don't even want to lift a finger! I would fire all the staff because they are so horribly...
Read moreIf I could give this post office ZERO stars, I would!! I am a small business owner, who has been using the USPS Priority Mail service for over 6 years and have spent thousands of dollars shipping my product across the USA. I have never had an issue with other post offices through the country. But this post office took it upon themselves to refuse to deliver 10 Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes that I had shipped to my customer in Katy TX unless the customer paid an ADDITIONAL shipping fee, amounting to over $600! Of course the customer refused and the boxes were held hostage at this post office for over 2 weeks. The customer even went down to speak to the staff and they refused to release the boxes to the customer unless he paid their additional "ransom." Their excuses were (1) the boxes were over the weight limit (this is a lie, as the boxes never exceed 68 pounds); and (2) the shape of the boxes had been changed (this is also a lie, as the reinforcement tape only makes the boxes more secure). The USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate service specifically allows up to 70 pounds to be shipped in a medium Flat Rate box. Their policy also states that tape can be used to secure the box. I always secure the boxes with tape because in the past, some of the boxes were dropped along the way and the contents were destroyed. As I said, no other post office across the country has EVER had an issue. But this post office decide to "make up" their own policy and one staff member even stated, "You shouldn't be able to put more than 65 pounds in those boxes." When my customer asked for a copy of the policy that allowed them to charge the addition "ransom," they refused to supply a copy of said policy. I spoke to my own local regional post master and my local post office staff, and they all agreed that this situation was NOT normal USPS policy and that there is nothing wrong with the boxes I ship out to my customers. If the USPS doesn't want customers to put up to 70 pounds in their Flat Rate boxes, then they should officially change their policy!! They shouldn't allow random post offices to "make up" their own policy, as this Katy TX post office did. Thanks to the unethical postal staff at this site, I have lost over $200 because of their incompetency and inability to follow their agency's own policy. I will be writing a letter of complaint to the upper reaches...
