UPDATE: Boyfriend said he also got food poisoning!
I’m not sure why my boyfriend is a regular here, but after yesterday we will be looking for some place new. My first time trying this place months ago, they gave me a kofta so overcooked, small, and dry I thought it was sausage. I never ordered that again. We’ve eaten here since then, but last time I suspected I received food poisoning the next day. Was scared to go back since. I just wanted to point out this is what they cooked me yesterday. It’s about 4 oz of meat. Most restaurants serve 6-8 oz. I’m not sure why the portions were so small, since the price is the same as everywhere else, and the quality here isn’t better either. In fact the quality in my experience is far from the standard. Whoever cooked this yesterday dried it out so bad that it was tough and unappetizing. I was actually mad when I saw these burnt up, small pieces of meat when I checked the food before leaving. I really did not feel we should have payed for this. Even my boyfriend’s plate had a very small portion of meat on it, and it consisted mostly of rice. I can’t justify paying what we did for some basmati rice and bunny food with a side of stingy burnt meat. I can make that myself at home without the burnt meat delight. To top it off, I’m not imagining the food poisoning. I’m sick again today. Perhaps that’s why they keep burning the meat, because they get complaints of food poisoning. We won’t be back. Treat your customers better, and clean your kitchen. The pieces of meat are much smaller than this picture shows. I hope you make adjustments so you don’t continue to lose regular customers. There are plenty of kabob restaurants to eat around here now that serve much higher quality food at the same price, and they don’t skimp on the portions either. I’ve also never gotten sick anywhere else.
Boyfriend also said that your lady in the back is always rude to him when she comes to the counter.
