Worst form of deception ever encountered

I purchased a 22kt Mens gold chain online from Zaveri Bazaar Jewelers. This was 39.1 grams for $2098.

This Necklace was not large enough for my liking so I told Zaveri Bazaar Jewelers that I would like something larger. They had agreed to exchange the necklace in full. I found the piece that I liked, 76.6G Rope chain design 22 inches long. This was $3,956, They told me to ship the 39.1g necklace back to them.

I decided to take an 8 hour drive to travel to the store as I was curious to see the operation in business.

When I have arrived they told me that there was a restocking fee for the exchange.. I was surprised since they told me I would have the value exchanged in full with no fees.

Then I dealt with the owner Alex Singh who Over charged me a restocking fee of roughly 22% and then sold me a USED necklace full of scratches and marks... When I was in the store the lights were bright and I couldn't see the necklace worn marks very well. I requested a "Lobster style" clasp instead of an "S" hook, because I feel the lobster is more secure.

He says that is fine, and goes back to fit it up. It is the smallest version of Lobster clasp and he says he doesn't have anything bigger. The lobster clasp was damaged when I received it in store, finding out later when I got home.

Alex Singh, was the most deceitful, Lying, and manipulating vendor I have ever dealt with. If you do business with these people you must assume they will lie and try to rip you off at every corner.

This is not how I do business and I operate 2 companies. I treat my customers with some respect because they look to me for guidance in making there purchase.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Thanks Zaveri Bazaar Jewelers, now I have to take my used, damaged necklace to another jeweler to get the lobster...

Very courteous staff. Shopping here was a pleasure! Uncle is VERY helpful in giving us sufficient time to make the selection and have answered all the questions we had and also gave us his best advice. All in all we are so VERY GLAD we bought jewelry from Zaveri Bazaar and we’ll definitely will visit again. Zaveri Bazaar’s staff are so helpful, courteous, knowledgeable, and they made me and mom feel like a customer that they care about. Now I know a place where I can shop and enjoy the atmosphere. The owner is SO nice, so kind and has such a sweet personality. He goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are satisfied with their purchases. I had a worst experience with them…. On 3/15 I visited to enquire about the gold string to change my mangalsutra to a new chain, they mentioned it is possible and said it will cost $300 if 3 gms and $400 if 4 gms and recommended for 4 gms bcoz it will be long lasting. I went by their suggestion, custom ordered and paid $432. I went back on Sunday, i had to wait 19 mins, then the person came and he realized the gold string they made is too thick (remember i custom ordered)… then the owner came and she said give us 30 to 45 mins, we will fix it… but it took 1 hr 20 mins… i had to wait with my 20 months old little one. Then she came bacj with completed one but they had misarranged the mangalsutra, she causally said this how it was. Good that there was a proof of photo of how it was in the past. Then to change it, they took another 50 mins… worst thing is, i paid $432 for 4 gms gold, but now they had to reduce the thickness of the gold string for the black beats to go in, so obviously the gold is less, i asked her she said it is 3.8 gms… this is insane…when i enquired how much is per gm gold, she said $75….the math is 3.8 gm x $75 =$285, i asked what is the rest, i was told it is service charge, but they had to reduce to 3 gms…and not even a penny was given back. this is my first time and i will never go back...
