Consider wisely where you decide to shop. You want to be sure that your chosen retailer adheres to āgood business practice.ā
It recently came to my attention that Tommy Hilfiger in Settlerās Green is NOT one of those who adheres to customer centric and common business practices among retailers. Let me contrast two different Settlerās Green vendors.
I occasionally shop at Settlerās Green and have shopped at the Haggar Store, Van Heusen, and Brooks Brothers, Adidas, etc. on regular occasions. When I have a return, they are most gracious and ask me āWould you prefer cash, store credit or a credit on your credit card.ā
On the other hand, my first experience at Tommy Hilfiger in Settlerās Green was the exact opposite. For a small purchase my wife made for $8.99 for a blouse, we were REFUSED a refund and made to either accept a store credit or nothing.
It doesnāt mean I wonāt shop at Settlerās Green. Itās nice having a discount shopping area so close. Itās convenient, the prices are great, and with this major exception, the service is great. I will however, avoid TOMMY HILFIGER. The first experience was an awful one. ( Are things that bad at this retailer that they need to scam...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePretty much your typical Outlet stores, but the way the stores were laid out and the Landscaping made it a much more relaxed shopping experience than I usually have. Some of the stores had some really good deals like for example The Gap. Yankee Candle didn't really have any spectacular discounts but they had a really nice selection of candles that I've never seen before so I had to purchase a few of those. The parking situation has its good points and bad points. It's nice because it's totally separated from all of the stores so while you're walking around and browsing through the stores there aren't cars buzzing around you pulling in and out of spaces you're not smelling exhaust it's kind of nice but by the same token be prepared to do a little walking. You can't just pull in close to the store that you want to go into. There's a very large parking lot but then you have to walk a little bit to get to the stores and once you get to the stores they're all kind of spread out. I don't know that this would be a really smart place to go if you were short on time and had to really get in and out to purchase something. Overall it was a nice...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI LOVE this outlet! My family and I went on a roadtrip up north and decided to stop here on our way. It was a lovely little drive and all the shops here were so fun! I saw a really cute couple, this woman brought the car around for her wife because it was POURING rain, I mean it was really coming down out there. It was just such a sweet gesture, I think we should all do small things like that for the ones we love. It can be such a gesture to keep the heads of the ones we love dry! The designs of all the stores were really nice and organized and there was a really cool checkered carpeting style in the coach outlet where I think we'll be getting my mother a purse for mothers day (shh dont tell her!) Anyways this is a really nice outlet with really...
