If you like being lied to and cancelled on because management is covering up their inability to retain talent, then this place is for you. Elements cancelled my facial on Sunday and rescheduled for the following Wednesday because my their employee had to leave suddenly. While that was not amazing, emergencies happen and I was glad to be able to get rebooked that same week. Wednesday rolls around and I go in only to be told that the employee is out on personal leave indefinitely. The receptionist was apologetic and happy to grab a manager at my request. Joanne showed no empathy for my situation and informed me that I had only the option to go with another employee who I didn’t know. She didn’t apologies or offer a credit. She told me that the employee I requested was unavailable, that she was confident that she had contacted everyone on the schedule implying that I had missed the cancelation notification. No calls or text messages were sent. Later, I found out that the employee had given her two weeks and was fired on the spot on Sunday. I continued following all prompts and selected the service of $99 for an hour (this is important when also seeing their rate of an hour for a single massage for $59). When I arrived at our appointment I was told that I did not book a couples massage and that I only booked an appointment for myself and my wife did not fit in to their schedule. When I insisted that I selected the service that was a much higher rate for the couples massage compared to their $59 for an hour for a single massage I was told that I had not been charged anything as opposed to offering any kind of resolution, or even as much as offering to reschedule for a later time. Read moreThis is the second Elements location I have been to, and it is just as great as the one in Tempe. What I like about this location is that they do a lot of communication via text message. When I booked my appointment, I got a text with information about COVID-19 protocols. This was very helpful in preparing before my appointment. Also, as my masseuse had a cancellation, I was asked if I wanted to come in earlier. They even sent me a photo of the gratuity guide when I asked. So helpful! The staff is very nice and friendly. I have had two massages here so far, and each one was with a different masseuse. Both were great! They communicated with me during the massage very well.
