Jack R. Hammett Sports Complex — Attraction in Costa Mesa

Update! Construction is still ongoing. Because of construction there is very limited parking. There is are very few spots at the entrance from Fairview and a few more near the snack bar if the gate from Costa Mesa High is open. During the games your best bet is to park across Fairview at Orange Coast College and walk across the street. Parking is free at Orange Coast College on the weekends. Because this is where the LA Chargers have their summer camp, the fields have all been upgraded and are now nearly professional quality. Bathrooms are available and the snack bar is open...

Really nice complex. Took my kids here for the San Diego (Los Angeles) Chargers training camp. Plenty of parking just down the street and the complex is real nice and afforded some shade. It was so hot that day but there was a little breeze and my kids could find a happy medium while hanging out watch the team practice. Great facility, new and updated and very CLEAN. Also getting out of there was not that big of a deal which makes events like training camp a lot...

Have improved widely this year 2022, there are many more stands for food, drinks and entertainment. The crowd looks great, the players engage with the fans after the practice. More facilities, great stands with overhead shades! Parking $5 and the overflow parking is across the street at Orange Coast College!
