One of the most terrible horrifying and nightmares I had with my loan, don't do any jumbo loan with these guys, if your loan officer suggest you them please ask him to move on with someone else, I didn't see the reviews before I work with them but when I read the reviews later, I noticed this is so true, they are so unresponsive, they drag your documents until last minute before your escrow due date and right at the last minute ask you for things that takes you a week at least to get it to them, then you are there with seller agent and escrow and be lucky if you can extend your loan due date, you may loose your premium 3 % that you paid and seller cancel his contract. Be very careful as JMAC do not care at all. I fell into a situation where COVID 19 started right the last two days my escrow was closing, JMAC dragged my documents until the escrow passed, I had terrifying nights not sleeping till morning to get the seller agree extending my loan and don't cancel contract. I was able to do that but then JMAC dragged my file for weeks until the Jumbo loan got canceled due to situation right a day, EXACTLY a day before my loan closes. At night, the staff called my loan officer and said the loan got canceled and we can't close the loan. They could have done all this in 30 days but after 50 days delaying my work till last minute they canceled my loan. I was lucky my loan officer was smart enough to get two loans, and close it. But even then, one of the loans that was with these guys was rated 4 % when the low amount loans were only 3.5 % or even less. We had to continue with them because it would take another month to work with with someone else staring over. Read moreI really wish I had better things to say about this company. Came as a referral from a friend, and regret following through. Communication was rocky and I was having to do all the follow up. They make assumptions on things you say without clarification. They DO NOT tell you all the documentation you will need up front even though they claim too. Simple process was drawn out months because they did not request paperwork from me up front and then expected me to provide it at the snap of their fingers. Had to submit documentation and have my credit ran twice, due to delays in paperwork from them not requesting timely. Was misinformed about closing more than once, was charged fees on my loan that were then 'reimbursed' back to me as checks after closing. Had I not been so worn down by this process and needing to get rid of PMI, I wouldve pulled out of this deal entirely. After closing I keep getting junk mail flyers indicating a relationship to JMAC, and that's how they got my address, plus my loan got transferred to loan care, and their website to make payments is an absolute joke, but that's the only way to avoid ridiculous fees to just pay your mortage to keep your home.
