Starting with buying tickets…. The lady at the ticket counter was very abrasive to say the least and not professional or polite at all.
The haunt: it seems like they’re very stuck in the 2000s (could be a good or bad thing). In this instance I enjoyed most of it. The theming was okay for some of it. But you’re on an old ship and they didn’t use that to their advantage too much. For example the random clown maze with cheap costuming. As well as the makeup being very low level.
The actors: it seems as if these actors have absolutely no training whatsoever. Being there on a Sunday I understand being short on actors but there were many actor pockets wide open that I could have easily walked into that the general public probably would have. I think with some guidance and training these actors would have some potential and not just throwing them in a scene with nothing to work off of. It also made no sense seeing the people in the rip experience in random rooms, I think that could be routed better.
Lastly the photo thing just plainly didn’t make any sense. You get your picture taken and I’m guessing it auto prints at the end of the haunt. Then they try and charge $20 for the photo. Just to be thrown away if you say no thanks. It’s 2025, there’s plenty of technology to fix this.
The cost to get in is a bit steep for the experience, if the customer service was even slightly better. I’d consider a...
Read moreThis was such a disappointment of a touch haunt. Paid $40+ for just general admission and a touch pass. Waited nearly 2 hours to go in. I don’t mind paying extra for a touch pass if it’s actually scary and you actually get touched. Scariest person in the haunt is in the elevator at the beginning. He’s the only one with decent anything and actually put effort into being “scary”. The lab wasn’t scary by any means. The boys acted more scared of us than we were them. The little games with no explanation of anything was corny and pointless, if there was supposed to be excitement or thrill, that just wasn’t there. There was nothing memorable. The only cool part was the tiny little taste tests and seeing the water through the stairs. It’s such a beautiful location and nice haunt inside and out. It has so much potential! Maybe I’ll give it another try one day but I won’t be purchasing a touch pass. If you want a good haunt with good scares and actually be touched and terrified, this isn’t the one. I’d recommend this to kids and maybe...
Read moreWorst haunted house in the nky area! Do not waste $35 on this! Save yourself the disappointment and go to dent schoolhouse. This attraction has not changed since the early 2000's and the actors were not interactive in the least bit. Don't know how they can afford to keep this attraction open because it's so low budget and generic theming. For example, DIY pool noodle lollipop for the clown in the queue line and Dollar tree spider webs draped down a hallway to walk through LOL. The scariest thing about this haunt is the price to charge vs what they...
