Unfortunately my experience was not so good. i paid $175.00 to get my thx altec Lansing pc speaker repaired and it only worked for a week. When i asked about a warranty. I was told "if you have problems bring it in and i will look at it. I did not bring it in because i believe he applied a temporary fix and I did not want to pay more money. There is no warranty mentioned on the receipt, nothing was mentioned about what was fix replaced, or a part being ordered. Sorry i am late writing this review. This issue occurred several months ago. He is a very nice and courtesy man but if he could not apply a permanent fix then he should have said so. 1/21/21 Update I tried fixed it myself i turned it over to open it and I noticed a label on it that clearly says this unit is not serviceable I'm sure he must have noticed that but he applied a temporary fix and charged me anyway here's a photo for your reference that clearly states that this unit is not serviceable I have put it in the trash this is not a reputable service shop needless to say Joseph...
Read moreAt E. Joseph you will be met with the highest quality customer support and expertise regarding your problem. I cannot stress enough how happy I was after visiting. My problem dealt with my laptop, I had what I thought might be a RAM error. To test this, "reseeding" the RAM is all one has to do to know for sure if that's the problem or if it's something else. Rather than nickel and dime me, E. Joseph did this diagnostic free of charge, showing their concern to understand what my problem was rather than start raking up a bill before we got started. This went a long way. Go to Best Buy and not only will they charge you, they'll ship your computer out and not be as friendly. I'm not saying everything is free, of course not, but it's clear their intention is to help and provide excellent service. E. Joseph saved me money and is helping me figure out exactly what is wrong with my computer. I have complete faith in them and would recommend them for their customer support, fair pricing...
Read moreNed is a miracle worker. I inherited a 1970's Marantz receiver and turntable that hadn't been used in years, and were inoperable. After searching high and low for someone to bring these beauties back to life, I found Ned at E. Joseph. He reconditioned the receiver pretty quickly, but told me that the turntable direct-drive motor had given up the ghost and would need to be replaced... There are no replacement parts for vintage Marantz, but Ned assured me that he would do whatever he could to reanimate the turntable. It took Ned's creativity and expertise to devise a way to convert the direct-drive motor into a belt-drive with a different motor. It was worth the wait. The system is now working as good as new and I'm a very happy customer. I honestly believe that Ned is one of a very small number of craftspeople who could do what he did to save...
