Leister Farm, Meade's Headquarters — Attraction in Cumberland Township

General Meade's Headquarters during the Battle of Gettysburg.

No access to the building, but well preserved. Furniture from the HQ is located at the museum at The Gettysburg visitor center nearby.

You can peak through the windows and get an idea of what it was like inside.

I do wish that they would do something more interactive with the building that might allow for visitor's to access the home and get a more in depth lecture on its role from a park ranger or volunteer.
