Berry Center Arena — Attraction in Cypress

Though most times when we visit it's a very enjoyable experience. It's a great place, and we've participated in so many spectacular events from award ceremonies, different JROTC events including the Military Ball, Drug-Free Expo, and even Prom. Met with smiling faces, and the staff is always very accommodating, but the parking for 2024 Cy-Fair ISD graduation ceremony was, I don't know how else to put it... but organized chaos is the only thing that comes to mind.. Upon approach, we were guided by many CFISD police officers, some on their phones, to keep following the direction of the traffic they were orchestrating along a long and coned parking lot releasing back onto the street.. not until we stopped and told the officers we had a graduate in our vehicle that needed to be dropped off, were we told to "just go over there.." As the officer pointed towards the center, while everyone else continued onto the street even though most had just got there themselves. With two different schools graduating, there should have been designated areas for the incoming and outgoing schools, furthermore, the release of the second school later in the evening was let out at nearly 10 o'clock at night, with very little lighting surrounding the building, and the students being told NOT to have their phones, it was very dangerous, many bumping into our daughter because it was so dark ( I say this a mother of a child with special needs that is in a wheelchair ) making it nearly impossible to take pictures with loved ones or friends, post graduation 🎓... I hope future seniors get to enjoy a better time at their graduations. I know the Berry Center...

From the first person in the parking lot to the girl in the snack bar with the great smile, to the policemen(2) keeping the peace and looking sooo handsome, to the sweet lady in the elevator as we left....every one of them made me feel safe and welcome. Also! The restrooms were soooo clean I felt guilty about mine at home. The Berry team is why after 18 years the 'center' looks like new.Truly...
