I'm just really over Popeye's inconsistency. The chicken sandwhich is what drew me back in as a customer. It was amazing the 1st year, but now I guess they decided to just be like every other fast food joint & cook bulk batches of meat then just let it sit in the heating tray until it sells. I worked at Popeyes & McDonaldswhen I was a teenager & I remember the rules were that after so many minutes in the heat tray it is supposed to be thrown away.. Well No Fast Food managers actually allow employees to follow these rules (because it makes the paperwork for cost/waste look bad), unless a District manager is visiting or it's an Inspection day.. So if your lucky enough to visit Popeyes when they just cooked a fresh batch it will be great. Otherwise expect a hard dried out piece of rubber hidden under an inch thick layer of greasy breading, which is falling off the shrunken filet. This has happen to me twice already. Another time they shorted me an entire sandwich. Only once did I ever get thru to a manager to remake us new sandwiches, other times I had to reach out to Corporate. Popeyes is making me feel like a "Karen". I really don't like confrontation nor complaining but the quality is inedible & I'm not going to throw my money in the trash over & over.. So I simply will Stop going.. 2 stars only for the red beans & rice that I will continue to pickup from time to time. But as far as chicken, it's better at the local...
Read moreFinal Revised Statement (Forceful & Detailed): This store is in urgent need of new management, as the current staff does not seem to understand how to properly follow or communicate company policies. I placed an order online and customized it to include only the pieces I wanted—an option clearly offered by the ordering system. Yet, when I arrived to pick up my order, I was told it could not be fulfilled as requested due to a so-called policy.
That explanation is unacceptable. Nowhere in the policy does it state that customers are restricted from choosing specific pieces, and if such a limitation truly exists, the system should not allow customers to customize their orders in the first place. Instead, I was met with confusion, refusal, and a lack of accountability from the staff. To make matters worse, Marlene was very rude when she told me this in the drive-thru, which only added to the poor experience and lack of professionalism.
This is both frustrating and disappointing. Customers have every right to expect that when they place and customize an order online, it will be fulfilled exactly as requested. The customer is always right, and management should ensure that this principle is respected by every employee. Anything less reflects poor leadership, a lack of professionalism, and a disregard for customer satisfaction. If this store cannot handle such a simple expectation, it will continue to lose trust, loyalty,...
