My family and I eat here maybe 3-4 times a week because we LOVE Whataburger.
My order is always the same: Double meat with cheese, no tomatoes, add mustard and tomato and cut the burger in half. I didn’t feel that the young man taking the order, took the order correctly so I asked him to repeat it. Once we realized he’d taken the order down incorrectly, he corrected it to what I’d initially ordered.
Once I got to the pickup window, I was given my order. Again, something told me to double check it before driving off and sure enough as I’m in the drive through checking my order - there was no mayonnaise as I requested.
I asked for the manager, Flavio. He came to the window and saw me open the burger with my hands to verify correctness and his suggestions were: You can give me the burger back (even after I’d touched it, but ok) or I can give you some mayonnaise on the side and you can go on about your way.
Luckily my husband was with me and he knows a little bit about cross contamination and food leaving an establishment and coming back into the establishment etc.. so we gave the burger back to Flavio since he didn’t give us any other choice in this matter.
So, the line was held up as we waited for him to recook the order correctly This time. This was a major inconvenience to us and all due to the establishment and managements error and negligence. I feel as a manager, Flávio should’ve been more accommodating since this was their error. There were so many ways that we could’ve left Happy instead of disappointed but we weren’t afforded any of those options so Flávio allowed us to leave disappointed. I live across the street from this Whataburger and world hate for this bad experience to ruin my chances of ever going back to this location. Flávio’s decision and the way he handled this situation was subpar at best. Extremely poor customer service, it was literally non existent. Not sure I’ll return.

Read moreI love most Whataburger fast food restaurants. But the staff at this particular location is absolute underachievers. I've never seen a kitchen staff move at such a snail's pace like the individuals working at this location. My son and I were there at that location on Sunday night, June 23rd at approximately 11:15 p.m.. yes the soccer team of the local high school was there and so they were a little more busier than usual, but it is absolutely unacceptable to wait 30 minutes for a patty melt and an order of fries. But that's exactly how long we waited. One of the people running the food out were calling out names instead of handing out table tents to match the orders like usual. And when he called out names he really wasn't speaking very loudly, and the soccer team from the local high school was being pretty loud so there was no way for them to hear him call their names with their orders. The man running out the food had to walk up to my son and ask him what he ordered because it was the blind leading the stupid in the kitchen. I will never go back to this location again because there are quite a few other whataburgers that I enjoy frequenting. I would like to hear back from a manager of the corporate level so that I can air my grievances to them. Please respond to this with an email address to send my complaint to. Read moreThis place is consistently slow, especially at night. I have had multiple instances of waiting 20-30 minutes on line with only five or so cars ahead of me, which is especially annoying when you've ordered ahead and are told by the app to be there at a specific time. On one occasion, I ordered carryout, waited in the parking lot for half an hour, and then went inside to find my cold food sitting on the counter, waiting for someone to bring it out (which in assuming never would have happened had I not gone in). These issues are mostly absent from the daytime shift, where I've found the service to be reasonable and the food good. I used to not have this issue years ago, so I'm curious if management has changed at this location relatively recently.
For the food, it's Whataburger. Same as you'll find at any other location. I've only ever had a few minor complaints with messed up orders and one major instance where I found something of moderate biological hazard in my burger. Management claimed that it couldn't have come from any of their staff and assured us of their hygiene compliance, but Ive mostly stayed completely away from the burgers since then.
