After reading the positive reviews online, we decided to make the extra drive to try this spot out. When we pulled up, we were a little surprised that it was attached to a gas station convenience store, but we kept an open mind and took a chance.
When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by the employees behind the counter. The eatery is not huge, but it can accommodate about 6 shared tables for 2. We told them that it was our first time there, and they kindly explained how to order and the rundown of what they offered.
We kept it simple and ordered 4 orders of the chicken and beef gyro combo bowls and a couple of orders of the falafel. They offer a variety of toppings for the bowls that you can choose to your liking. They fry the falafel to order.
Everyone enjoyed their bowls, the chicken and beef had good flavor, and the white and pink sauce were quite nice. We will be back again when we want a quick, Mediterranean protein bowl that...
Read moreI contemplated about writing this review, but I will show no favoritism. The food here is always great no matter what. However, customer service and customer satisfaction is a huge problem and I will never return and I will inform my company to no longer eat at your establishment after how I was treated and disrespected yesterday. I get the same dishes I come to the restaurant and yesterday my food was made incorrectly and had an ingredient I was allergic to on it. I informed the worker and instead of professionally offering to remake or even rectify to a LOYAL customer who eats there every week. You hang up in my face and disregard my allergen. Don’t worry I won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend your establishment since you all can’t take responsibility for making a mistake when we are all human...
Read moreThis is the second and also last time that I'm eating here. The quality of the food is fine, no complaints there. However, there is no such thing as a free cup of water here. You have to buy bottled water as that is all they have. I just wanted some tap water but they cannot provide this. Also, there's an unenforceable "No Firearms or Weapons permitted on this property" sign with some statement about how you'll be considered a trespasser and risking jail time. So, you won't find law abiding armed citizens here, the only armed folks will be the criminals who don't care anyway. Suggestion for the company, put up the proper authorized signs referencing the Penal Code that officers can actually enforce, if this is...
