I love Michaels and the in-store shopping here is fine. It seems they are very understaffed which is unfair to the employees.
Anytime I have done a pick up order, its never in the pickup section and it takes ages for someone to grab it for me. It should really just take a few minutes because pick up orders are supposed to be a time saver but its been 4 times where it takes 20+ minutes.
Today, I tried curbside to mitigate the issue with walking in, this time again it took 20 minutes before I gave up and walked in. I let the girls at the counter know and they were like "we weren't notified and there are only two of us." They very well could have not been notified and thats totally not their fault but that is something that needs to be resolved. However, the second comment about there only being 2 in the entire store seemed far fetched. The whole front area was also very empty? Idk. They were not apologetic and seemed a little rude-like I bothered them by letting them know about my order. I could have misread but that was just my initial thoughts.
Going forward I will just be doing in person, it just sucks because additional sales are offered online.

Read moreI visited almost all Michael’s store around Texas and this one specifically has the best best customer service. I read many reviews and people never read the cupón policy, the online policy and all the policies this company has, but I know that they don’t have control about the inventory at all, sometimes if you order something they don’t have it and they call you to let you know because the system online don’t reflect the inventory updated but most of the time is because many customer just go and take items without paying and the system reflect they have it so as costumer we need to be more humans and understand, also when you order online you are the one who send your items to another store because they can not fix any addresses in the curbside system because the system is encrypted and they don’t have the permission to fix customer info online. And cashiers sometimes they are rude because they need to deal with humans that think they deserve all the respect and great service because they have money to pay but they left all their bad energy there, but seriously the best store in Texas and please read the policy before you put a review....
Read moreI frequent Michael’s often enough that I have the rewards account, yet that wasn’t enough for the black cashier whose name is Ayala, or something along those lines.
She was friendly initially even though she ignored us at first while she gossiped with a co worker before letting us go to her empty line. She asked me to sign up for the card, I politely declined. She kept pushing and trying to guilt me into getting it by saying she couldn’t leave until I got it. I kept saying no. She kept pushing so I asked if it was a credit card or just another tier for the Michaels account I already had. She said no it wasn’t and proceeded to explain how the Michaels credit card worked, and so I said “so it is a credit card then.” She looked obviously defeated and sighed yes. I said no for the final time after she admitted the truth and she started insulting me and my financial status. She was apparently mad I had a horrible credit score (I never gave a reason for why I said no, she...
