I should have read these reviews first!!! (I understand the identification and check in policies and I passed my test so this is not an I didn't pass bitter review.)I went to take a test at 8:00 AM. I arrived at 7:50. When I walked in a Lady called out my name and when I said present she said I was the last one for that time. Her name was Rachel. Apparently this was her fourth day and the woman working the front desk with her, it was her 1st day. Great front desk team, 2 newbies. Rachel was trying to train the other lady and she was so loud and over bearing the other lady kept taking deep breaths...it was rough to witness. Rachel was also running around like a chicken with her head cut off. So people just arriving keep getting called back to take the test. I didn't say anything. Then a girl came in and she asked her was she coming for the 8AM test or 8:30AM test, she said duh the 8:30 test cause all the 8 o clocks are already back there. I'm thinking um no. So I still am being patient. Then it is 8:25 and someone who is taking an 8:30 test goes to Rachel and asks her when he will go back he's set for 8:30 she said we will get you back as soon as possible, you have 5 minutes until you're late. This is where I freak out internally, if he's gonna be late after 5 minutes I am soooooo late. I go and ask her she says, we will get to you as soon as we can. I was fuming, like am I gonna be late now, what is going on. So I finally get called to the back at 8:45. The lady in the back starts checking me in, and I politely ask her is there a rhyme or reason to the calling of people back there. She was calm and said that there were some computer issues earlier and she knew of 3 people who HAD to go before me. I informed her that several people came before me taking the same test at a later time and it just seemed as if the front desk did not know what was going on. She had a puzzled look on her face, and then here comes loud talking Rachel. She told me that I got back there when I got back there and I still get my full time. I informed her that doesn't matter I should have been back there sooner and not taking my test starting at 8:55 for an 8:00 test. She began to argue with me...I had to tell her to stop talking to me. I told her I'm about to take my test now and I don't want her talking to me anymore. I could here her arguing with the lady who checked me in for 3 minutes after I went in. Saturday is a large test taking day I would assume, it was really a poor choice to have 2 people that were brand new working the front desk. I will never schedule another test at this...
Read moreHonestly, the bad reviews here made me so anxious- much more anxious than the GRE I had to take. Parking was a breeze, just make sure to park where the purple pillars are, about the 3rd floor. Then you can take the elevator, go out the door on the right and head straight to the Prometric!
The people working at the facility were also really sweet to me! I expected them to be mean and rude like the reviews, but in all honesty they were sweet. They treated me kindly at least 😭 so idk if the other people got fired or something, but these people are pretty chill. There was the usual scanning and checking, which wasn’t a hassle for me. They talk fast especially when talking about the rules and stuff but super easy to follow along. They’ll answer any questions or concerns you might have. Overall, the people treated me kindly so don’t be anxious about the workers here. Idk though maybe I was lucky
I know ETS says don’t bring your phone, so I left mine in the car- but they do give you lockers! Just make sure to turn your phone off and you can keep it in the locker.
I was also nervous about a possible technical issue- but nothing happened for me! The computer setup was done by a staff member and then you just take your test! The rooms are kept at about 70 degrees F so it wasn’t too hot nor too cold. Idk, maybe today was just a good day...
Read moreVery rude and racist staff! Made me so upset on my big exam day by not letting me wear my light jacket that was shorter than my knee length (I’m 5 feet tall) which I really needed during an 8 hour exam under the AC. Even worse, there was another person who was wearing a bigger and thicker jacket than mine but they let her in saying she’s okay when she tried to take her jacket off after hearing what they said to me. I had to rush to my car which was on another level to get a shorter jacket, which made me so nervous and wasted my time before the exam! I didn’t want to get into arguments and waste more time because of my exam. Testing environment is not good at all with all the noises and unfriendly staff who are rude and upset you in between the breaks too while checking in and out. Their smileless, rude and careless faces are definitely going to ruin your exam day, I learnt it the hard way, it’s better to avoid this center. I hate to return to this center, I would rather go to the clock tower one even though it’s far from me because of nice and caring staff. This story is from a year and a half ago and I’m still scared to return to this center because of that...
