D CAFE — Restaurant in Dallas

I googled "Soup Near Me" in hopes of finding a restaurant with amazing soup. Simple enough, right? This place popped up and their menu looked amazing. I drove around looking for it and ended up at a hospital. I was sure I had the wrong location and tried to call. No answer. I was still willing to go in but wanted to be sure that I was in the right part of the hospital. I even tweeted about my issue and the company wrote me back and asked me to DM them for assistance. I did and told them that i called TWO locations and neither answered. I even drove to the other location, also inside a hospital, and was told by people outside that the restaurant was closed for construction! Au Bon Pain did reply back to me via DM and simply said "We're so sorry you had that experience with us! We will let our team know so that they can look into making it easier to get in touch with our locations." Bottom line, never found the place, never got my soup and ended up at...

Place is garbage. I showed up 20 minutes before their 7 pm close time. (Odd closing time btw) Waiting in line for a few minutes for the guy to tell me the ovens turn off “automatically” at 6:50, 10 minutes before close.

I then asked if I could get a coffee and he said those coffee brewers “automatically” turn off at 6:50.

I then asked if I could have a cup of already brewed coffee and he said no because everything would “automatically” turn off at 6:50. Which is an odd response when I am asking for coffee that has already been brewed. I could clearly see there was still several large canisters of coffee being kept warm on...

If your at Medical City Hopsital and considering walking to tower D for Au Bon Pain let me save you some time, don't. Everything is pre-made and nuked in a toaster oven for 60 seconds. After two bites of a bacon, egg, cheese bagel I threw it away as it tasted like cardboard. I got a "fresh" coffee because the pre-made containers were empty...it was awful. The atmoshpere reminder me of waiting in line at the DMV. I didn't expect much from a hospital fast food shop but this...
