This was the worst experience I have ever had. He I could I would give it a -5 🌟. From the very beginning of when I walked through the front door until I walked out. Here is just a brief description of my experience;
The day behind front desk did not greet me when I walked in, I had to engage her and let her know I was checking in. She went through the process very dry and coarse, no people skills at all. I was not aware that even if the room is paid in full and using a card they can keep on file you HAVE to HAVE a $100 deposit. They even refused to take card over phone. 2 hours I finally got that squared away and checked in. Once again she was coarse and should not be in hospitality. Went to the room where plumbing was not working, tried using phone to call maintenance, house keeping, and front desk all of which was a busy signal. Tried calling from my cell it just rang over 10 min. Husband went to front desk where she was rude and told him 2 hours. Um no I am not waiting until 10pm to have someone come to room. She got upset and gave us another room. As soon as we opened door we were blasted in face with smoke. I went down this time (I apologize to HER for having to complain again) very rudely she gave me a 3rd room. No apology or anything. Decided to just go to pool since it would close in an hour, but there was only 1 towel. Hmmm 2 people (both needing towels to use for pool and dry towels for shower) so we stopped by front desk to ask for 3 more towels. Clearly annoyed She said just go to pool I will bring them in a min. After 30 min of swimming and still no towels the fire alarms go off so we get out soaking wet in swim wear on and 1 towel for 2 people. My husband gave me the towel and we headed for front doors with alarms going off. Dripping wet he slips on there floor with an incline and There wet sign in corner not in use and splits his head wide open. Guest start coming to aid and one guest goes to front desk to tell her she very slowly walks over security gaurd following and I explain what happened. Without either her or the security guard asking if we needed assistant or if he need an ambulance she walked away towards the front desk very calmly and my husband had to ask the security guard for the towel he had in his hand for the blood that was pouring off of his head. The security guard hands in the towel and walks away with the lady to the front desk as I'm addressing his wounds and trying to get him to stop bleeding and get him off the floor my husband walks to the front desk where she is still on the phone not ask him if he's okay not asking if he needs anything and he tells her he should be fine. At which point he has not seen his injuries nor his he felt the effect of him with his adrenaline running through his body myself and other guests are explained that he needs to go get stitches but not only did the lady at the desk not offer to help not offered to even look at his wound not even so much as offer an apology but she still refused to give us the towels. We decide to go grab a bite to eat let his adrenaline wear down at which points I clean up some of the wound and realize that he is going to need it dressed I asked the lady at the front desk but she's got a first aid kit she has no guys no sterilization fluid to clean it so as a police officers walking through the door who is called there for a different circumstance on a different party I asked him if he had a first aid kit he then looked at my husband's head and called an ambulance the ambulance came out looked at him recommended that he be taken to the hospital. We went to the hospital several hours later he had a cat-scan a neck brace and 5 Staples put into the back of his head. Once again she never even asking to look and see what was wrong with him or if he was okay so around 2:30 a.m. we finally get to the hotel. Sleep for 4 hours and get up to take him to airport. On the last night that I'm going to be able to see my husband for...
Read moreAt check in they would not accept my debit card because my name was not on it being that it was a temporary card due to misplace meant of my card with my name on it . Even after offering to show her my online banking account verifying my identity and all debit cards with numbers and all . And still they made me find an atm and pay cash . At check in my child’s father was outside with our 4 month old babygirl . When I check in I was not notified of any “guest list”. So imagine my fiancé’s frustrations when he goes to get us breakfast the next morning BEING THAT THIS HOTEL DOES NOT OFFER BREAKFAST !! The front desk girl stopped him in the lobby as he was about to enter the room key into the doors that take you to the elevators to access to the room . I took multiple trips to the lobby so I spent some time down there and not once did I see anyone else with a room key that was questioned. He is a tall, heavy set African American man and I can’t help but believe that played a part in him being singled out. Anyhow the receptionist then proceeded to tell him he needs to have an ID and be on the list to enter the hotel . Never mind that fact that he had a room key. They called up to the room and told me he was downstairs and would need id to enter the hotel . In process of moving he misplaced his ID. Because he stayed in the room the night before his keys clothes and everything were in the room with me and my daughter . After telling them this still he was unable to even help me gather our things !!! So here I am trying to tend to my 4 month old and gather all our things . When I walk past the curtain on the window it sways and out of the corner of my eye I see something that was lying under the curtain . It was a picture of a woman and her son from chuckee cheese. So having experience in hospitality I knew the room had not been cleaned properly. When I went to grab my shoes under the foot of the bed I found even more trash and a black sock . That did not belong to my family. I took pictures and videos of it all . At this point I’m beyond ready to go ! So here I am 23 years old 125 pounds trying to get myself my four month old daughter, our several bags, her seat, her stroller from the third floor to the first . They only had one cart that was accessible and it was being used by a man sitting on the couch with his bags on it in the lobby. I get down to the front desk to get my $100 deposit when I notified the receptionist of what I had just found and showed her the footage I had. Her exact words were “If the room was dirty you should have told us last night”. 😳 like did she not just hear me say I JUST FOUND THIS TRASH. The room was booked on booking and was only 45 dollars . You would think a hotel under new management trying to build their brand, would want to make it right. First putting us in a dirty room, and being negligent in notifying me of their security policy when I checked in. I would never recommend this place. Pay $5 more to stay somewhere...
Read moreI booked through an oyo Puerto Rico customer service rep. Upon arrival I gave my email and text confirmation number from the hotel with my rate. The front desk clerk changed my rate anyway to a higher one and said it would take 3 days for me to see the credit. He tried to suggest I booked via 3rd party. Advised my reservation was direct from oyo so why would he change my rate? Two weeks later no credit was issued. Someone had pulled the fire alarm in the middle of the night . Fire trucks people running , staff running out the building. The security guard was present. Although this location is off 635 & near the galleria. It is in the heart of North dallas which can be considered the hood. There are multiple exits but there is only one way in and one way out. The trashcans were always full with trash sitting by the trashcans. There was a no smoke policy but multiple rooms on my floor were smoking marijuana. Clean room i thought at 1st. The cleaning people left 2 used face towels on the shower bar. My actual towels had hair in them. They didnt smell clean. Thank god I brought my own towel. I stayed for 2 nights. Parking was a nightmare. Although there were side doors guest couldn't scan our room keys for access. So if you parked in the back you had to walk to the main door. One way in . One way out. That's not safe. I dropped my charger behind the nightstand. I found old brownie pieces, chips, pins and candy. Clearly it wasnt vacuumed. Day two i moved the night stand for the cleaning crew to vacuum. They didnt vacuum up the chips, the brownie pieces. There was a battery, juice cap. They just moved someone's mary k pen on the nightstand. The room was remodeled, beds were comfy. Great microwave and fridge. Cant beat the price. Just be cautious of your surroundings. Look lock hide anything left in your car overnight. This place takes cash or card for payment. The problem with this is that taking cash comes off as a motel and attracts sketchy people. There was an in and out burger right next door. A lot of guess that evacuated from the fire alarm being pulled went there in the middle of the night as we waited for the fire dept to clear us to head back in. Lobby decor is nice. Long walk to elevators to rooms. Its probably less busy through the week. But during the weekend its poppin with all walks of life meaning. Ghetto, hood, upper class, .middle class & 2% classifications of people. The rates are what pulls everyone in. Id stay again and request a closer room to the...
